A young and by all account passionate Christian man was stabbed to death in the Gaza Strip this past weekend in an incident that should highlight precisely the kind of “free” and “tolerant” society the Bush Administration and the international community are trying to create by pushing for the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state. Israel’s kid-glove treatment of Gaza
September 19th, 2007 · 5 Comments
The Palestinians and the international media do their best to convince the world that Israel is treating the Gaza Strip in a brutal and oppressive manner. The truth is that Israel’s leadership is very stubbornly refusing to take off its kid gloves in dealing with the mounting threat from Hamas-controlled Gaza, to the continued detriment of both Israel and the Arabs of Gaza. Sovereign terrorist entities
August 20th, 2007 · No Comments
An Israeli news site last week quoted a Hamas leader telling a Lebanese newspaper that his group plans to declare independence in the Gaza Strip*. The Israeli site posted a follow-up analysis that noted with a certain degree of fascination that if the declaration takes place, it would mark the first time a full-fledge terrorist organization had become a government in charge of a territorial entity. Al Qaeda is in Gaza
August 5th, 2007 · 7 Comments
Naturally, the Palestinian Authority and Gaza’s Hamas rulers want to discredit the notion that Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda terrorist network has set up shop in the territories under their control, but their claims simply are not compatible with the available evidence. Continue reading »

Gaza strife exposes Palestinian hypocrisy
May 17th, 2007 · 7 Comments
The Palestinians so often openly display their hypocrisy for the world to see, and the world almost nearly as often ignores it.
The latest example of this hypocrisy comes amid the escalating internal strife in Gaza that this week spilled over into southern Israel in a big way.
Creating a welfare state
May 6th, 2007 · 5 Comments
It is in no one’s interests to create a welfare state anywhere in the world. But that is precisely what the international community is trying feverishly to accomplish with the division of the Land of Israel and the creation of a Palestinian Arab state.
Every indication is that “Palestine” would be wholly dependent on international handouts and Israel’s economic infrastructure for its survival. In short, it would be a “sovereign state” only in name.
And Israel is to blame for the Palestinians’ economic woes?
March 5th, 2007 · 9 Comments
Amidst the din of weeks of “Palestinian” infighting, the media can be excused for missing the story that since December 1, Muslim terrorists have bombed 45 Internet cafes in the Gaza Strip. Forty-five! In three months!
Imagine if that was happening in the US. It would be declared a terror epidemic.
But alas, this is only the latest example of the Palestinian Arabs’ propensity for economic self-destruction.

Ceasefire is death in disguise for Israelis
November 27th, 2006 · 42 Comments
The globally-acclaimed ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Authority in and around Gaza is death in disguise for the residents of southern Israel. And it’s not even a very good disguise, nor is it a new one.
Nevertheless, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert insists Israel is strong enough to take the chance and see if this time will be different:
“Israel is a strong country which can allow itself to have the strength to both fight and to also show restraint and to give the ceasefire the possibility to succeed.”
Later, Olmert told reporters:
“All of these things ultimately could lead to one thing – the opening of serious, real, open and direct negotiations between us so that we can move forward towards a comprehensive agreement between us and the Palestinians.”
Right. And who pays the price when you are wrong? The same people who have been paying the price for these ludicrous policies for more than a decade now, that’s who.
