CAIR: Hamas’ representatives in America

August 7th, 2007  ·  13 Comments

Think the Palestinian Authority and neighboring Arab dictatorships are the only places a group like Hamas can gain official representation and influence over the government? Think again, because apparently Hamas has already got its claws in the US administration and America’s top law enforcement agency. Continue reading »

American democracy will not take root in Iraq

March 14th, 2007  ·  26 Comments

US strategy in Iraq is based on the mistaken assumption that Arab Islamic culture is fertile ground for American-style democracy.

But has that form of democracy ever been successful in the Middle East?

Washington’s duplicitous stance on terrorism

March 14th, 2007  ·  29 Comments

In an address to academics in Jerusalem on Monday, US Ambassador to Israel Richard Jones indicated that despite their nearly identical behavior in regards to anti-Israel terrorism, Washington accepts the “Palestinians” but rejects Syria.

Following in Jimmy Carter’s footsteps

February 26th, 2007  ·  35 Comments

PeaNUT-job Jimmy Carter claims his truest and most heartfelt desire is for Israel to live in peace, but all he really cares about is getting the Israelis and Arabs to sign another peace of worthless paper so he can cement his own legacy.

Sadly, Carter’s is the same path being tread by President George W. Bush, as it was by Bill Clinton before him, and George Bush Sr. before him.

Palestinians admit they don’t want real peace

February 19th, 2007  ·  31 Comments

It always astonishes me how the international community simply refuses to take the Arabs at their word. Talk about racism!

For example, the Bush administration continues to insist that the “Palestinian” general public wants peace with Israel based on the “two-state vision.”

The “Palestinians” themselves are doing their best to refute that claim, but no one is listening!

Now can we end this charade?

February 19th, 2007  ·  11 Comments

Going into Monday’s three-way summit with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas, visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice admitted there was no evidence that the new “Palestinian” unity government was ever going to comply with international demands that it recognize Israel’s right to exist.

That being the case, wouldn’t now be the time to accept that the current Palestinian Arab leadership (Abbas and Hamas and everyone in-between) simply does not represent a viable peace partner for Israel?

Wouldn’t now be the time to accept that the Oslo/Road Map peace process is a failure, and that we need some alternative options?

US doesn’t negotiate with (some) terrorists

February 16th, 2007  ·  9 Comments

The United States has a well-known policy (in theory) of not negotiating with terrorists. Unfortunately, that policy often takes a back seat to the politically-correct leanings of liberal politicians seeking to leave a legacy of “peace.”
