What to do about Palestinians’ love of Hamas

August 23rd, 2007  ·  4 Comments

The results of yet another Palestinian opinion poll show that a very sizable portion of that public would still vote Hamas if elections were held today. Many commentators and Western leaders say that means Hamas is an inescapable reality and must be engaged, not isolated. They are wrong. Continue reading »

America enabling Palestinian terror

August 22nd, 2007  ·  9 Comments

We all know that a large bulk of US taxpayers’ dollars sent to the Palestinian Authority ultimately go to finance acts of terrorism against Israelis. But the Palestinians say that even with the cash, in the absence of US military training, they could have never killed so many Israelis over the past seven years. Continue reading »

More Palestinian children sacrificed to Allah

August 22nd, 2007  ·  5 Comments

Peace in name only

August 19th, 2007  ·  2 Comments

We all know that the peace between Israel and Egypt is cold at best. But even the peace between Israel and Jordan, which is often held up as a model for Israeli-Arab coexistence, is a worthless scrap of paper whose success is entirely dependent the temperament of the king in Amman. Regaining biblical courage and zeal

August 18th, 2007  ·  5 Comments

This weekend we watched The Last King of Scotland, and as the movie ended it reminded me that Israel used to defend its people with a level of courage, daring and zeal that I can only call “biblical.” Continue reading »

The days of Noah

August 10th, 2007  ·  257 Comments

Is the growing apathy apparent in both the US and Israel in the face of mounting threats further evidence that we are very close to the end of the present age described in the Bible? Continue reading »
