Israel could have made up for its failure to execute an effective battle plan during last summer’s Second Lebanon War with a bit of persistence, rather than jumping at the first opportunity for a ceasefire, a Hizballah field commander has admitted.
In an interview aired on Israel’s Channel 10 News Tuesday, the Hizballah officer said the group’s forces in southern Lebanon were dangerously close to having to surrender when the UN stepped in with a ceasefire deal last year.
“The ceasefire acted as a life jacket for the organization [at the end of the Second Lebanon War],” the Hizballah officer said.
In the interview, the unnamed officer said Hizbullah gunmen would have surrendered if the fighting last summer had continued for another 10 days.

The officer shown on Channel 10 said the organization’s gunmen had been running low on food and water and facing rapidly diminishing arms supplies.
Despite having promised his nation a crushing defeat of Hizballah, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert readily accepted the truce, as numerous operational blunders and a mounting casualty count were making him unpopular.
So I guess you can say that the international community saved Hizballah from destruction with Olmert’s help. And I thought he wanted to defeat the terrorists. Just goes to show you - never trust a politician.

That is what the UN is for. While it says peace, peace, it delivers war to nations that will not submit to the New World Order. The UN is about Uniting Nations under it, nothing else.

If Olmert had not “put the skids” to the IDF’s plans to defeat Hezbollah last summer, things would not be in quite as big a “mess” as they are.
Olmert is either one of the dumbest men in the world…or he should be charged with HIGH TREASON for his untiring efforts to help in the total and complete destruction of the Nation and Land of Israel!
He is “sleeping with the enemy!” WAKE UP! ISRAELIS AND THOSE WHO LIVE THERE WHO LOVE ISRAEL AND HER LAND AND PEOPLE.

It’s weird but I used to hate Christians and Jews, and did not know why. After I became a bible-believing follower of Jesus, I love Christians and Jews. I look forward to the day when the Jewish nation looks to Jesus, then we will all be together in Jerusalem with Him in true safety.
I am saddened that as a nation .. the prophecy says they will follow the Anti-Christ that makes a pact with them. The anti-Christ will then seek to destroy them (2/3 rds I think), a third hides in Bozra until Jesus comes I believe.
The Jewish nation has been through much.
Jesus come soon to rescue them. O Lord have mercy upon Israel.

It would seem Gary that it will take a lot of devastation and death for many of the Jews to let go of their Torah and call on the name of Jesus . There seems to be a growing group of Christians leaving Jesus for the Torah . I believe that God will bring through that time the true Remnant and the others will perish as He purges Israel .

I believe that Hizballah has the capability to defend the land of lebanon, and as all of us were following deeply the war that had taken place in lebanon on 2006, we notice that even though Israel has a wide rang of weapons, but didnt come to defeat Hizballah completly, we have seen many tanks on the ground burning with the anti missiles tank.
obviously the war was not proportionnal, but Hizballah won politically and military, and zionists lost the game.
