Someone stop the abuse of Palestinian children!

August 30th, 2007  ·  8 Comments

International human rights organizations are so focused on finding ways to demonize Israel that they are almost completely ignoring the daily illegal use of Palestinian children in terrorist activities.

Three more Palestinian children were killed and a fourth was arrested this week while being cynically employed by Hamas. The only condemnation of these human rights violations came from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which was forced to act against the youngsters in order to protect Israeli lives. Continue reading »

Abu Mazen is no partner

August 29th, 2007  ·  4 Comments

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas met on Tuesday, and as expected the Israeli media was full of reports asserting that Israel does in fact have a sincere peace partner on the Palestinian side.

Handshakes and smiles, however, do not necessarily make Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, a sincere peace partner, and they certainly don’t make him a viable one. Continue reading »

Palestinian gesture of goodwill?

August 28th, 2007  ·  2 Comments

Was Monday’s rescue of an Israeli army officer from a Palestinian lynch mob by Palestinian Authority police officers a gesture of goodwill toward Israel, or simply another case of the Palestinians protecting their own interests? Continue reading »

Why is the US arming Egypt?

August 28th, 2007  ·  11 Comments

Egypt is a nation without external military threats to its sovereignty. None of its neighbors can threaten Egypt’s territorial sovereignty, yet the United States is arming Egypt at an alarming rate. The only reason Egypt would need a strong army is just in case it decides to go to war against Israel in the future. Continue reading »

Why Israel is not Ireland

August 27th, 2007  ·  2 Comments

A Northern Ireland peace activist visiting Jerusalem last week made the ridiculous assertion that if the Catholic-Protestant conflict in her part of the world can be resolved through dialog, so can the Israeli-Arab conflict. Continue reading »

Misrepresenting Christian values

August 27th, 2007  ·  16 Comments

The peripheral left-wing Christian group Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) is calling on American Christians to reclaim what it calls “Christian values” by siding with its un-biblical policy of pressuring the US government to more rapidly implement the division of the Land of Israel. Bush is wrong about Hamas and Fatah

August 27th, 2007  ·  4 Comments

The Bush Administration is trying to kick-start the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and is pouring US taxpayers’ dollars into Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization based on the myth that Hamas has been sidelined and isolated in Gaza, and that Abbas and Fatah want nothing to do with their Islamist brothers.

That is what Washington is selling those Americans whose hard-earned tax dollars are going to the Palestinians, but the White House and the State Department know better. They are, in fact, financing Islamic terrorism against a US ally. Continue reading »

Muddling the war on terror

August 26th, 2007  ·  4 Comments

Mainstream support in the US and Europe for the global war on terror is still fairly easy to come by when the enemy is a rogue, independent group like Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda. It becomes more of a challenge when dealing with groups like Lebanon’s Hizballah and the Palestinian movement Hamas. Continue reading »

The Truth About Mohammed

I just finished reading The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World’s Most Intolerant Religion by Robert Spencer, and want to encourage anyone interested in a deeper examination of why Muslims are today at the center of the vast majority of conflicts around the world to pick up a copy.
