Israel is about to release 250 jailed terrorists in an effort to bolster Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. What the government of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is really offering so that Abbas can prove he is capable of extracting concessions is an as-yet-undetermined number of Israeli lives.
Israel’s Justice Ministry admitted on Wednesday that one-fifth of the terrorists Israel releases in these kind of deals and gestures immediately resume their efforts to kill Jewish men, women and children. According to figures provided by the Almagor Terror Victims Association, a good number of them have succeeded in doing so the second time around. At least 179 Israelis have been killed over the past seven years by Palestinians released from Israeli jails.
Imagine if this had happened to the US. Imagine if Washington agreed to release a group of prisoners from Guantanamo, and one of them proceeded to strap on a bomb and kill Americans somewhere in the world. It would only happen once, because the US would never again even consider such a concession.
And yet, Israel is pressured to repeat this scenario over and over again, with the government offering the typical justification that none of the 250 to be freed on Saturday have “blood on their hands,” meaning they have not participated directly in the murder of any Israelis. Of course, most of these prisoners tried to get blood on their hands, but were caught before they could do so. And the government is letting them go with the knowledge that a lot of them will again try to kill.
In about six months we should know how many Israelis died so that Olmert could receive a pat on the back and a limited round of praise from the international community.

Sadly as Biblical prophecy states, whether at Hamas’ or Fatah’s hand, 2/3 of Israelis (Jacob’s seed) will perish. In essemce the hand of the seed from Hagar by Ishmael through Esau who married Mahalath, Ishmeal’s daughter (Gen. 28:9). Notably it is Islam that is from that seed.
Zech. 13:9;
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
Thankfully God tells us what the fate of those who claim to be the owners of the covenanted land given Abraham to Isaac and finally Jacob (Israel) in Zephaniah 2:5;
Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
Sadly we are seeing the seducrion of Israel predicted in Ezekiel 13:10 and it will not end until Jesus sets foot back on th mount of Olives and ends the madness from the seed of the wild man, Ishmael.
There will be no peace deal, only talk and deception. But Esau’s seed seen in mount Seir and called Idume will know Israel is the Lord’s elect and will pay for what they have done. Ezekiel 35:10 & 15;
10: Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
15: As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD
It’s all about these two men from Abraham. One the seed of the promise through Abraham, the other the seed of bondage by Hagar through Ishmael (Gal. 4:22-31.)

The only comfort that can be found is found in God’s Holy Word. Mankind has always sought to bring about wars in one way or another. It seems to be the nature of man to want to fight….satan loves war and bloodshed; but God, our Heavenly Father, always has been and always will be our SOURCE. We can have no other….there is no other that will bring peace and Victories for the Believer in a world marred by sin and its trail of suffering and oceans full of tears.
“Comfort ye, comfort ye, my people” We must go to God’s Word and therein stay and wait on Him as He speaks to us through His Word.
As we pray for His divine guidance in every area of our lives….He will guide our paths and comfort will come and sustain us through whatever we have to endure. His Word stands forever….We are to find His place of rest and seek it daily so that we are “not consumed” by all that is happening around us. “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee…” What a promise! I stand on this Promise every day that I live. God has a way of “balancing His books” with the enemies of Israel….I am praying, fasting, watching and waiting expectantly to see HIM destroy the enemies of His Beloved Israel. He will do it when Israel least expects it….but Israel must not become prideful and arrogant when God acts…..Israel must humble herself before Her God…..The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. “No good thing will He withhold from him who walks uprightly.” He requires righteousness…We can’t live it without Him being our SOURCE…..
