Where is the movement to free eastern Palestine?

June 6th, 2007  ·  6 Comments

Elder of Zion has a good post regarding the fact that 100 years ago, all of what is today Israel, the Palestinian-controlled territories and Jordan was referred to (by the British and those who followed their exampe) as “Palestine” - the mythical ancient homeland of the equally mythical “Palestinian” people.

The post goes on to ask why there is no movement today to free eastern “Palestine” from Jordanian (Hashemite) occupation like the one seeking to end Israel’s control over western “Palestine” (the so-called “West Bank”).

It is a good question that has one obvious answer, and one forgotten answer.

The obvious reason that western “Palestine” is a focus of such great attention while eastern “Palestine” is not is that the former is controlled by non-Muslims, and not only non-Muslims, but Jews - the one people group that Islam’s Mohammed prophesied would one day be betrayed by the very stones and trees for their alleged treachery.

The forgotten reason for the same is that rather than enter into dialogue and a “peace process” with the self-proclaimed “liberators” of “Palestine,” Jordan’s King Hussein unleashed his armed forces against Yasser Arafat’s ilk and drove them from his country.

Make no mistake, the PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc still dream of one day overthrowing the Hashemite Kingdom and taking all of British Palestine for themselves, but realize that attempting to do so any time in the near future would likely mean the death of their cause.

Israel could have struck the same fear in its enemies, but instead chose to bow to international pressure and treat Arafat as a partner in the vain hope of creating a “new Middle East.”

Again I think its fascinating that the world regards the Palis as some sort of “occupied group” or “people who need freedom” when in fact they are the true occupiers as well as the people who prevent freedom in their “lands” and other Arab states. Palis are 75% of the worlds problems. Move these bastards into the Sinai and let Israel have her home. This is just madness this planet.

I agree Nathan, the world is all mixed-up about who the true occupiers are. And if the world doesn’t quit pressuring Israel, and become supportive to them about this, then they just need to stay out of the whole situation, and let Israel handle things in their own way.

    Q. How many Palestinians does it take to change a light bulb?
    A. None! They sit in the dark forever and blame the Jews for it!
    Variations of above:
Q: How many Palestinians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: If you wait long enough, the Palestinians will manage to screw themselves.

Q: How many palestinians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Even if you change it, they’ll never see the light.

Q: How many palestinians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: None, the prison maintenance staff takes care of that.

Q: How many Muslims does it take to change a lightbulb ?
A: None. If the lightbulb has died, it is the will of Allah, and it would be blasphemy to attempt to change it.
Did you hear about the Broadway play, “The Palestinians”?
    It bombed!
What did one Palestinian woman say to the other?
Does my bomb look big in this?

The fact is the (occupied) Palestinians are better off under the (protection) of Israel. The radical factions that go unchecked now in Gaza do not offer jobs and security to the poor and struggling people that just want to live in peace . Unfortunately the good Palestinians can’t be heard over the actions of the radicals .

Gaza is a wasteland. Look at Hamas’ actions today, it’s crazy that they would take it this far, but also proves a point — that the Arabs are crazy and blood thristy for power and they will even kill their own brothers, even children to get it. Israel should continue to build her fence, how much is done along the Gaza? Need more! And build a moat also with snakes and creatures.
