Israel’s enemies are changing tactics again

March 4th, 2007  ·  13 Comments

For decades, Israel’s enemies made no pretense of desiring peace with the Jewish state, and instead attempted at every opportunity to destroy the nation militarily.

When it became clear that that was not going to happen, at least not under present circumstances, the Arab nations turned to diplomacy, albeit in a relatively hostile manner, to achieve their aims.

While those hostile diplomatic efforts continue, it appears some of Israel’s Arab enemies are beginning to realize that they have a better chance of success if they offer more carrot and less stick.

UN helps keep Palestinians under refugee conditions

March 4th, 2007  ·  1 Comment

It is no secret any longer that the Arab states of the Middle East have no intention of resettling the so-called “Palestinian refugees” and easing their lives. They are far too valuable as diplomatic pawns in the great quest to destroy Israel.

What is a real shame, though, is that nations like the United States do not demand that the UN stop helping the Arabs to perpetuate the daily suffering of these people.

Vice Premier Shimon Peres said on Israeli television on Saturday that by the end of the current government’s term, at least several dozen established Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria will be no more.

Extreme Israeli leftist peace activists demanded on Saturday that the government demolish the grave of a Jewish resident of Hebron who gunned down 29 “Palestinians” at the cave where Israel’s patriarchs are buried in 1994.

The call came after scuffles broke out between a group of fellow Hebron residents who had gathered in memory of the killer and police officers who were on hand to arrest anyone that displayed support for individuals or groups deemed to be “Jewish terrorists.”

Israel risks Jews for Arab ‘dignity’

March 1st, 2007  ·  20 Comments

Israel on Wednesday went one step further in making good on its promise to, yet again, sacrifice its own security for the sake of Arab “dignity” by easing airport security checks on the one group of people capable of mass-murdering airline passengers: Arab Muslims.

In response to the nagging of Israeli Arab lawmakers over the “degradation” of Arab passengers at Israel’s airports, the head of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) promised to spend huge amounts of money to install new technology and ensure that all passengers are checked the same.
