More UN hypocrisy

February 28th, 2007  ·  8 Comments

Michael Williams, special advisor on the Middle East to the new UN chief, assured the world on Tuesday that during his recent visit to Jerusalem he “forcefully” let Israel know that its violations of Lebanese airspace are unacceptable.

But I wonder if the UN has employed equal force in insisting that Lebanon comply with its obligations under the truce deal that ended last summer’s war between Israel and Hezbollah?

Of course, I know the answer to that one.

Apparently, these nitwits are more concerned about Lebanon’s sovereignty over the air than they are about another war erupting because still-heavily-armed Hezbollah can’t keep its missiles in its pants.

The UN policies are nothing but a joke. They don’t even try to show any impartiality. Their prejudice is so obviously blatant against Israel, and that should not be tolerated by anyone. The US especially, should not allow this to happen. If the UN won’t comply to the rules of fairness, then the US should no longer be a part, of that obviously biased organization. But unfortunately, deep down the US feelings about the prejudice against Israel, must not be any different than that of the UN. Because if the US feelings were different, it seems to me, that they would have already done something about this intolerable situation.

The UN and all the people in it can go to hell and burn. Nothing they say or do matters at all. People should stop listening to them.

Joyce - The USA can’t just come out and express total 300% support for Israel. That is suicide for any President, it’s just like the King of Jordan during Yom Kippur, he never wanted war with Israel he even told Golda Meir that Jordan would not attack, but to the Arabs he supported it, because he had to or it would be certain death if he didn’t the principle is the same.

    God help us all.

Look at the weather throughout the U. S. See the stock market —- is not this a wake up call for America. If America does not stand strong with the Nation of Israel, all is lost for the U.S. America can’t please anyone anyway! The nations of the world hate America just as they do the Nation of Israel….So, why shouldn’t the U.S. stand strong and firm with Israel….Is not Israel our only friend?

The U. S. pays an enormous amount of dues to the United Nations….much more than most anyone else. The U. S. should withhold their financial momentum for a season…..the United Nations might show more respect to the United States, and ultimately to the Nation of Israel as well.

As Sir Winston Churchill said: “Without courage, all other virtues lose their meaning.” It all boils down to this fact====COURAGE! “Wimp-dom” is never the answer….it only causes ones enemies to grow stronger as they preceive us to be unwilling to stand up and stand strong!

Pray for those who are in Authority…Prayers do make a difference….

    Nathan,
I agree we definitely need God’s help. But I believe, in order for us to get God’s help, that it is of the utmost importance, that the US gives our total support to Israel. Because I also believe, that if we don’t, then God will not help us, but that he will punish us severely. It is my opinion, that God has already punished us for not supporting Israel the way we should. With 9/11, Katrina, and with all the storms, and powerful tornadoes, that we’ve had. It seems that the storms, and tornadoes, are getting more violent than ever. And I believe, that if our support for Israel continues to weaken, that things will be even more disastrous for the US.

Who does an American President or any politician anywhere need to worry about? Clearly America should have stayed away from the UN altogether and should turn and run from them!!! True suicide is worrying about politics and your career and what the other terrorist nations will think!!! I fear great judgement comes with that suicide, where suicide or death by standing for YHVH and His people/land will get you many rewards in eternal life and a heavenly crown with many jewels. Yeshua died for us, Why won’t we do the same for Him!!! Very funny blog below, says it all!!!
