One Jerusalem has a petition going to protest US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s apparent siding with the Muslims over the ridiculous controversy surrounding what amounts to fairly minor renovation work by Israel at the Temple Mount.
According to the news wires:
Rice “says (Muslim) concerns about Israeli renovations near a revered Jerusalem mosque are justified.”
Likewise, they point out that Rice has never made a similar fuss over the Muslims’ enormous unauthorized excavations directly underneath the Temple Mount that has led to the destruction of centuries of Jewish history.
I would add to that analysis that Rice, and therefore the United States government, is actually aiding in Islam’s suppression of religious freedom in Jerusalem.
You see, the gate that the Israelis are trying to make accessible again is the only entrance to the Temple Mount that Jews and Christians are allowed to use.
If that gate is made permanently unusable, then the Temple Mount - holiest site on earth to the Jews and many Christians - will become off-limits to anyone who is not a Muslim. Kind of like Mecca, but inside a democratic and free state.

religious freedom does NOT equal the freedom to just be a christian or a jew… it’s freedom for ALL people to walk in whichever religion they choose! perhaps the US leaders in fact DON’T read the bible, but this is not a christian nation here… it’s a free nation to be whatever religion you want. It’s very disconcerting that our Secretary of Defense would say such a thing. The more our government does and says things like this, just shows their true feelings. The U.S. can’t be lukewarm about this, and it can’t serve two masters. The U.S. seems to want play both sides of the field, and it can’t be done. Our government has to make a choice of who it’s going to support. And I hope and pray, that they make the right choice to support Israel. Because to support Israel, is to support God.

Although I have to admit there are times when it doesn’t seem that we are, because the leadership of our nation has strayed from God and His Word. And I hope and pray, that will soon be remedied. And I believe, that if it continues to do so, and we continue to lesson our support for Israel, without any repentance for these sins. Then I believe, that very soon we will no longer be considered a Christian nation, and you might be right God may already feel that way about us. Because I do believe, that God has punished America for these sins, and I feel, that if things continue on this way, that we will be punished even more severely. I know of course that being a citizen of America doesn’t make you a Christian. The only way to become a Christian is to repent and ask forgiveness of your sins, and to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And maybe, I was being overly optimistic, by thinking that America is still considered as a Christian nation. I guess I was just hoping, that even with all the wickedness in America, that we still had enough Christians here, and through prayer, and being a witness for Christ, we could hopefully make a difference in America.

I know Marcel will disagree with me, and I certainly respect and can understand his position, but my view of the situation in America, especially after visiting Europe, is closer to what Joyce expresses.
America is without doubt a nation on the decline, with wickedness disguised as liberal freedom running rampant.
But unlike the nations of Europe and other areas, there is still a large enough bloc of Bible-believing Christians (and Jews) in America to make some kind of difference. I don’t believe they will be able to turn the nation around and “save” it, but as far as Israel is concerned, I think a positive role can still be played … for now.
Now, I will say that I agree fully with Marcel’s position that the bulk of this Bible-believing bloc is asleep, and therefore completely useless at the present.
Unless they are woken up and mobilized for action in time, America will squander its last few chances to play a positive role in what God is doing in and through Israel.

No I am not anti-semetic,and I know that the antichrist has not yet been revealed. But it does give a description of him in Daniel chap.11 verses 36&37:
“And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.”
“Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.”
I believe these verses are self-explanatory, or do you need further explanation from them? Who by the way, were written by a Jew. So who’s the ignorant one concerning the scriptures? And yes I am very certain about my salvation, how certain are you about yours? I am also pro-Israel and I believe that America should support Israel. I dont know of which bible your reading from ,but to quote the scriptures correctly ,in Daniel ch .11 verses 36 and 37 it says ; The king will do as he pleases . He will exalt himself and consider himself greater than any god ,and he will utter monstrous blasphemies against the G-d of gods . He will prosper only until the period of wrath is over ,for what has been determined must take place . He will show no respect for the gods his ancestors worshipped ,or for the god women worship -he wont show respect for any god ,because he will consider himself greater than them all . But instead ,he will honor the god of strongholds ;with gold ,silver ,precious stones and other costly things he will honor a god unknown to his ancestors . He will deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god .He will confer honor on those he acknowledges ,causing them to rule over many and distributing land as a reward .
Now ! the scriptures do not say anything about him not having any desire for women ,even in the NIV bible it doesn’t say that and neither does it say this beast ( or person ) will be a Jew .After the Spirit Filled believers are caught up into heaven ,then that thing will be revealed .And its not important who he is .What’s important is for G-d’s people to be ready when He comes back for His church ,both Jew and gentiles alike and to propagate the gospel and stay prayed up and study doing the will of G-d until He ( Yeshua ) comes back . In Israel they believe the United States is a good friend , yet they have thier reservations concerning the U.S. mostly because of past administrations balking on there comittments. The U.S. isn’t the only nation to renig on a promise towards Israel and so they no already that there is not one nation on this earth that can be found completely trust worthy. In Israel the people do know that God will never allow there nation to cease and that he is the only true trust they have. I am not talking about government officials but the Israelites themselves. The reason the point was made to you about the antichrist was to help you realize, that all people have shameful things happen in the country where they live. And Charles used one scripture to base his thoughts on ,and no other .The word of G-d has to be taken in it’s totality .You see I’m a Spirit filled believer and the spirit of G-d has shown me many ,many things concerning the end of the age ,He gives me revelations in the infallible word of G-d .I’ve had visions and dreamed dreams ,and many of them have come to pass already .He’s given me the word of knowledge ,which also is prophesied in the book of Joel ch .3 ,and also in in Matt .ch .3 verse 11 thru 12 John says ; It’s true that I am immersing you in water so that you might turn from sin to G-d ; but the one coming after me is more powerful than I - I’m not worthy even to carry his sandals -and He will immerse you in the Ruach HaKodesh ( Holy Spirit ) and in fire . And being filled with His Holy Spirit wasn’t for people back 2ooo years ago ,quite the contrary ,it’s for everybody who wants to be delivered and set free from the bondage and slavery of sin .And I wasn’t condemning anyone ,I was talking about America and the nations have rejected the G-d of all of Israel .And America and the nations has many ,many gods they bow there knees to . I do not love the world ,nor anything in it .That includes America . In the first book of John ch 1 verse 15 thru 17 ,Paul says ; Do not love the world or the things of the world . If someone loves the world the the love of the Father is not in him; because all the things of the world -the desires of the old nature ;the desires of the eyes ,and the pretentions of life -are not from the Father but from the world .And the world is passing away ,along with its desires .But whoever does G-d’s will remains forever .The word of G-d has alot to say on this also .If you have any problems with what I’ve written to you already ,then I suggest you go before Adonai Yeshua and and ask Him to show you whether I’m in error or not . And ask Him to open up your eyes and show you whether what I’ve told you is in fact true .
Dont take my word for it .pray and study for yourself .As I said ; the Spirit of G-d has shown me many ,many things ,that have already come pass and things yet to come .and He’s given me discernment and discerning of spirits at times . And I know who is genuine and say they are christians and those that are not .How do I know this ? Well in John ch 5 verse 20 .And we know that the Sone of G-d has come and has given us discernment ,so that we may know who is genuine ,moreover ,we are unites with the One who is genuine ,united with His Son Yeshua the Messiah .He is the genuine G-d and eternal .

I see, that you still don’t understand what I’m trying to say so I’ll try again. For one thing your opinion, about the scriptures being misquoted, is just that, your opinion. And besides that, I haven’t said who I think the antichrist will be. But if I did, that would only be my opinion. Just as what Charles, and what you think about who the antichrist will be, are just your opinions. Because no one knows for sure yet who the antichrist will be. And I am also a spirit filled believer, and I am always learning things from God. But I am not haughty, or highminded, about the things that I have learned, because I am nothing more than his humble servant, and I give him all the honor and glory, not me. And I agreed with you that America, and the world, is sinful, and I don’t love the world, but I do love my brothers and sisters in Christ, who are in this world. And so you see, this is all that I was trying to tell you.

I was not at all infusing my opinion ,I was clearly stating what the word of G-d is saying concerning the present world conditions as it pertains to Israel and the Spirit filled believing church today .And I to am a slave to Yeshua HaMashiach .And if your truly a Spirit filled believer ? As Paul said in 1 corinthians ch .9 verse 19 :

And I could say the same thing to you, about if you are truly a Spirit filled believer, then through the Spirit you would have understood plainly, what I was saying. There are several points I’d like to make:
First, the “only gate Christians & Jews are ALLOWED to enter” is a joke! Jews go up on the mount all the time to intimidate the muslims…Sharon made a big event of it some while back.
Secondly, the scripture referring to “those who bless Israel will be blessed by God…” is Old Testament and was stated before Jesus came to “enlighten” the jews to The New Law which was rejected. This rejection ended the Covenant God made with Israel, and the Covenant was given to the Gentiles, instead.
Thirdly, America’s support for Israel is strictly a political; don’t kid yourselves. The Israelies have as much religious spirit as Bin Laden, and they certainly don’t bother to follow the guidelines of their religion when dealing with the Palestinians. I’ve seen plenty to prove that point.
Lastly, If the Jews are the “Chosen Ones”, then what was Jesus all about…what are the Christians? Jewish suck-ups? No thank you!!

I can see clearly that your not interested in what the word of G-d says ; you and your friend enjoy attacking me for telling the truth .And if you had truly read my statements then you would see that I’ve been boasting about the things Yeshua HaMashiach is doing and yes in my life .And yes He has blessed me with the best gifts of the Holy Spirit .

I see Regent that your a Jew hater and a G-d hater .Show me where it’s written that the Torah and G-d’s convenants are no longer in place . The Temple Mount is very Jewish and Allah that the muslims worship is a mythological god that mohammed made up when he was having one of his demonic fits .Also ,Islam is a cult and pagan religion .and the blood bought church of the living G-d is made up of both Jews and Gentiles .But I want you to show me though the scriptures where G-d has broken His promises to His people the Jews .Because the Blood bought church of the living G-d hasn’t replaced Israel .That was not Yeshua’s purpose . And the Arab Pali-Nazi’s has no history nor claim to any part of Israel or Jerusalem or the West Bank . but when Yeshua HaMashiach comes back and sets His feet on the Mount of Olives ,there will be a great earthquake and of course the pagan mosques will be destroyed and Yeshua’s Temple will be rebuilt on the Temple Mount and all of Israel including Jerusalem will be given back to the Jews .And all of Israel’s enemies will be destroyed .you need proof of that ? In all your recent post or for that fact I don’t believe I have heard you proclaim the name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior . You have hinted at it but never said that you are saved by grace of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son Of God . Jesus Christ crucified to death and rose again on the third day and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of GOD .
Saved by the Blood sacrifice of the Lamb Of God .
Jesus is the only One who will discern who is in the Lambs Book of Life . I still do not understand where the G-d came from . Please explain as I a mere mortal
cannot understand the reason for that .

I am very interested in the word of God, I’m just not interested in the word of Yaffa. And you should read the comments, that have been made, again. Because if you do, then you would see that you are the one who started attacking me. I have agreed with you about America, and the world being wicked, and sinful. And how we are not to love the world, or the things of this world. And also, how we are to love our brothers and sisters in Christ. But all you’ve done in response is to attack me, and to try, to question my salvation. You are not God, and it is not your place to question your brethren’s salvation. And if I were you, I’d be very careful, in doing such a thing. And maybe, you should take the scripture, that you quoted to me, and apply it to yourself. Matthew chap. 7 verses 3-5:
“And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”
“Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?”
“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”
And I agree, that it is good to honor and glorify God for the things he does for us. All that I’m saying is, that we should not be righteous, in the things we do for God. Because as it says in Isaiah chap. 64 verse 6:
“But we are all an unclean thing, and all our righteous-nesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
And I don’t know where you got the idea, that I was attacking someone else on another forum. Just because I didn’t agree with him ,doesn’t mean that I’m attacking him. This is America, and I have the right to express myself, as much as you, or he does. And all I was doing, was the same thing he was doing, and that was giving my interpretation of God’s Word. And if you want to continue attacking me, for doing so, then go right ahead, if that makes you feel better about yourself, and how you want to portray yourself, as a Child of God.

I have read threw most of these comments and wish to leave these last things for us to ponder. I won,t be leaving scripture chapter and verse though only because I don,t talk that way . I f I misqoute please forgive me it is not indended to mislead but just to think upon. One person says they are a slave to yeshua yet Yeshua (Jesus) says I know longer call you slaves but I call you friends for a slave knows not what his master is doing. If one is born again are they born again of the flesh ? I believe not ,but do believe that one is born again by the Spirit of God not according to the will of the flesh but according to the will of God born again of the Will of God by the Spirit of God making us Sons and Daughters of God our Father. True religious freedom can not be stopped by man and that is to help orphans and widows in their need. It is written that servents of God are not to be arguementive , yet we see over and over againour brothers and sisters in Christ wrangleing over words and doctrines. Which one of us have ever counsiled God . Many of us have complained but to council is what we need from our Heavenly Father.Council me Lord I am wrong and you are always right. I try to make for peace, and pray often that the Holy Spirit will continue to Sanctify Jesus as Lord in my Heart. I do this for selfish reasons , because I believe the scriptures. blessed are the peace makers they shall be called the Sons of God. Blessed are the pure in Heart they shall see God. Yes I also rejoice when I am persecuted insulted called names accused falsly.I want to be called a Son of God and I want to see him face to face . Selfish of me yes, but I pray heavenly Father please don,t take this selfish desire in me away but please give me more. Thank you my Father you are so good to me. shalom

I appreciate your insightful comment, and you are right as brothers and sisters in Christ, we shouldn’t be arguing. And I’m sorry, I let myself get caught up in all that bickering. I was just trying to explain a comment to Yaffa, that my husband made, and things just seem to go from there. Anyway, I’m going to try to refrain from anymore arguements with him. And I pray God will give me the patience, and understanding, to do so.

What is the event that will allow Israel to rebuild the Temple without the rage of the Muslims from stopping them . Sooner or later the Mosque will come down and the Temple will be built .What then ? The Sanhedrin said that the Antichrist will give them 3 years to build it . I just don’t think that the Muslims will just walk away from that site . I believe that the upcoming conflict or war involving Syria and Iran may quell their need for greed for 3 holy sites .

Concerning Rice’s words, I think it is a spoof (and it seems so large to Israeli’s)
and by rights, it is, because the opposition it is so utterly outrageous and fabricated causing havoc from a simple exercise of repair. She could never let on but, I think it’s a Spoof and I believe she is intentionally appearing on the wrong side of things. Please don’t crucify her.
I mean, this particular thing. Everymove of hers is counseled and she is well honed in on being somewhat of a decoy, decanter, and doormat. She knows this.
Let’s not put all our eggs in one basket.

I attend a Messianic Church called Kehilat Sar Shalom from time to time.
They put on a wonderful Purim pagent every year with the children. Some years there is a mob of Jewish protesters outside picketing and making a scene in hopes they can turn people away.
It is not a new Congregation. they have been there for 25 -30 yrs.
So, maybe you are embittered about a lot of things. I don’t know…are you? You don’t have to say of course.
I guess if I were to have to choose, I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes. They get it from all sides. It takes real conviction to survive that much persecution. As a Christian, I cannot even begin to compare it, but I do know one thing. Those who profess Yeshua, whom I call Jesus will be hated of all men. And many will be put to death for that belief.
I believe that time is at Hand. Here in America, the terrorists have thousands of acres set asise in which they train and teach young to be militant. I have seen the pictures of the wooden signs on their barbed wire compounds. Some say (White Christians.) I do suppose there are other signs in other areas as well.
Also Yaffa, there is someone on IMB site that is curious about celebrating Purim and would like some suggestions. Maybe you would like to think about signing in to the site in the Forum.
I am curious if you could look something up for me from the Tanach. Let me know. If you can I’ll give you my email address.
