Now can we end this charade?

February 19th, 2007  ·  11 Comments

Going into Monday’s three-way summit with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas, visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice admitted there was no evidence that the new “Palestinian” unity government was ever going to comply with international demands that it recognize Israel’s right to exist.

That being the case, wouldn’t now be the time to accept that the current Palestinian Arab leadership (Abbas and Hamas and everyone in-between) simply does not represent a viable peace partner for Israel?

Wouldn’t now be the time to accept that the Oslo/Road Map peace process is a failure, and that we need some alternative options?

Rice apparently feels that the answer to those questions is a resounding ‘NO’. Despite the fact that even she now admits the “Palestinians” have a government that will never actually implement any peace deal it signs with Israel, Rice insists direct talks with the Abbas-controlled half of the PA must continue.

Why? To what end?

Hamas won’t support any deal that grants Israel any shred of legitimacy or a respite from terrorism, and Abbas is clearly in no hurry to force the Islamists into compliance.

In fact, this whole affair should be evidence enough for Washington and Jerusalem of Abbas’ true interests.

For months, the media has been going on and on about how Abbas was trying to “moderate” Hamas so that peace could be achieved. But if that was true, then why did he not make recognition of Israel and a renunciation of terrorism the cornerstones of the power-sharing deal signed in Mecca?

No, what was more important to him was internal “Palestinian” unity (meaning unity with the Hamas terrorist organization), and his own party’s insertion into the government to act as a fig leaf for Hamas’ virulent positions, thereby giving the international community the opportunity it needed to restart the flow of funds.

For Abbas, it’s about money and power, not peace. For Hamas, it’s about destroying Israel. Turns out their true interests are not in opposition to one another after all.

Rice’s open realization of this makes the US government all the more complicit in the murder of every Israeli by this terrorist entity that it refuses to terminate its relationship with.

JoshuaPundit has an excellent, like-minded take on the situation.

So if Abbas dies the charade is over ?
Not a chance ,the evil empire will make Israel accept Barghouti or Dhalan as his replacement.
There was a time,a time when Israel had the determination to defeat her avowed enemies.
Since the fake peace process engineered by the Empire,Israel has chosen to come under it’s subjegation and no longer wants to defeat her enemies.
Hezbollah is a good example of this as the weak leader Olmert and his brood of hens obeyed the call from Bush’s secretary Rice to halt the too late IDF offensive against Hezbollah this summer.
The U.S. will not permit Israel to defeat another Arab army .
This same stratdegy is working with Hamas,Fatah and Israel’s restraint.
A nation which is subservient to a perverted empire and forgets their God is a nation in big trouble
The same phony peace scam photo op which the U.S. has been pushing down Israel’s throat for decades.
It’s America’s commitment to the arab world not to allow Israel to defeat an arab army ever again.
If you have been seduced by this delusion of peace think back to the 2nd Lebanese war where Israel was not permitted to defeat hezbollah by Condi and her boss. All it took was a phone call to Israel’s P.M. from Washington and the IDF retreated .

I don’t think I have been seduced by their delusion of peace. I don’t believe peace is actually the desired outcome.

That is why I urged an end to this charade, and a real look at “alternatives” - like annexation.

    Ryan,
I know you have not been seduced ,only that you are being to kind to the evil empire .
So many are afraid to say the truth so as not to offend the blind the deaf and the dumb.
The truth is offensive to those decieved by lies
I do know if I was more kindly towards satan’s emissaarys and their Road map agenda,I would be more loved by the lukewarm vomit crowd.
There are many who listen to you and Stan and you have the greater responsiblity before God not to be so kind in your dealing with evil forces who dissect Israel under the lie of peace.
President Bush and Condi Rice are not simply misguided ,well intentioned souls, they are emissaries of Satan who under the lie of peace destroy so many Jews.
That is the truth ,is it not ?
Why do so many so called lovers of Israel go out of their way to paint them in a false light ?
They are evil ,their acts are evil and they do not serve God but Satan.
Praying for them is not enough ,they must be exposed to the sleeping church for who they TRULY are.Only then will the sleeping church in Ameirca understand why God’s wrath is about to fall so hard on this country.
But that is unacceptable to those who love not the truth but hold onto their choice delusions
This is not to you Ryan but to many of my fellow Christian’s here in the U.S. who serve Idols made with mens hands and pay lip service in support of Israel as they serve two masters.

[…] Coupled with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s earlier revelation that the new “Palestinian” unity government is not going to meet even that most basic peace obligation of recognizing Israel, this should be enough to end the present “peace” process. […]

MARCEL ONLY OUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS, SOON AND VERY SOON I FEEL GOD WILL CLAIM HIS BRIDE, HIS CHURCH. “EVEN SO LORD JESUS COME QUICKLY”

  • 6 Marcel // Feb 20, 2007 at 2:15 am

    Bobbie,
Yes God knows and He still reveals secrets to those who seek Him.The truth He will reveal to those who ask and seek.
You choose to remain in your comfortable darkness of not knowing like so many double minded Christian’s .
like so many you are a perfect example of the blind and sleeping church which love to wallow in ignorance. You don’t want to know.
There will be no excuse such as the one you gave me for continuing in not knowing what is going on.
You refuse to listen or heed the warnings God sends. So what more can He do to get you to wake up and hunger for the truth ?

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

Smoke and mirrors . Inspector Clouseau could have done a better job . At least he would have been funny .

I agree,it’s WAY past time for the church in America to speak up,rise up and demand we support Israel. We are in the “end of the age” described in the Bible, and Christians need to be praying for Israel and the church. The Bible warns us about all this, and we are commanded to support God’s chosen people!

  • 9 Joyce // Feb 20, 2007 at 5:10 am

As Christians we should all know that God’s prophecies will be fulfilled. But that doesn’t mean as Christians, that we should not stand, and speak out, against the wickedness of this world. Also prayer is very important to Christians. I have seen many prayers that have been answered. So Christians should be very dedicated in their prayer life. But I believe, that God expects us to serve him in all possible ways, and to be faithful to His Word.

Marcel: I apologize, I intended to continue my discussion with you, but unfortunately had my day hi-jacked by one of those conspiracy theory anti-Semites who was trying to flood Zionist.com with his particular interpretation of the Bible.

Anyway, our dialogue has prompted me to prepare a full post on how Christian Zionists should respond to Bush, as I see it, so as to prompt a full-on discussion.

Suffice it to say, your words to this point have impacted me on this matter.

Joyce: Thank you for that comment! 100% accurate, as I see it!

    Ryan ,
Praise God, He teaches our hands to fight.
We do know that psalm 83; 3-4 is a conspiracy and not theory .
Those who love the truth know beyond a doubt who is leading this ‘no-peace’ conspiracy agaisnt Israel and who is pulling Israel’s strings. His name is George.

The enemy likes us to be clueless and often says we are not to know.
The Lord said ;My people die because of ignorance,
(lack of knowledge) and it’s amazing ,the wilfull ignorance which so many use to hide from the truth .
They sure get mad when someone goes off the same lukewarm and shallow script .Hot or cold ,thats what
    God expects from us.
Mnay lukewarm, middle of the road ,loving saints are in for a big surprise.
There were many Christian’s in Germany who were unhappy with the FEW who spoke out against their elected Fuhrer who did so many wonderful things for the German people.
They also said ;Pray for our leader , and only God knows his heart,ect.ect.
It is so sad that it has taken the Church of Laodecia so long to respond to the evil done against Israel under the lie of peace by a fake Christian who seduced so many ignorant Christians to get into power.
The shepherds have led Go’ds people astray ,again !
It seems their pride has kept them from humbly admitting that they were decieved by a wolf in sheep clothing who slowly destroys Israel by way of satan’s Road Map lie of peace.
Ryan ,I truly see this as God seperating those of His flock who trust in lies from those who love ,dearly love the truth.
Everything about this phony peace maker is a lie and those who defend him have made their bed with him.
I see the seperation growing wider between those who bow to their earthly Lord and those who truly seek the Kingdom of God.
When Bush declared Martial law ,those who refused to awaken from their delusion will fasll deeper into even stronger delusion ,just like the good Lutheran Christian’s of Germnay did .
They closed their eyes for too long.
It’s way past time to stop making ecuses for this evil man and warn others that a curse is upoi Ameirca for the cursed Road Map betrayal of Israel and for our unrepentance, our wickedness in the Church.
