The mainstream media is predictably underreporting the Muslim uproar over Israel’s minor renovation work outside the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
What they are failing to point out is that the work being done is to stabilize the earthen ramp leading to the Mugrabi Gate, the sole access point to the Temple Mount for Jews and Christians.
Right-thinking Israeli lawmaker Aryeh Eldad said as much last week in an interview with Arutz 7:
“The Arabs actually want the Mughrabi Gate passway to collapse so that they will be able to close the only gate that is under Jewish control. That will end the era of Jewish visitation rights to the Temple Mount. They have been waiting for this for a long time, and that’s why they don’t want us to refurbish it.
What is also being completely ignored by the press is the fact that the Muslims have for years been conducting unauthorized and unsupervised excavations under the Temple Mount that have turned thousands of years of Jewish history to rubble.
And yet, the Arab League’s claim that Israel is distorting the face of Jerusalem is made a top headline.
Typical hypocrisy.

Another ignored fact is that Islamic terrorism works .
Look at all they have easily gotten from Israel for their non peaceful ways.
Israel always capitulates to the threats and violence
The enemy is always rewarded for their tactic’s.
Israel didn’t use to be this weak and stupid.
There was a time when Israel exuded strength and the Arabs knew not to push too hard.
That all changed when a phony ally came into the picture to get peace for Israel.
We all know that the U.S. will QUIETLY & SECRETLY pressure their puppet and stooge Olmert to accept the new and improved Terrorist Plaestinian government ,dont’ we ?
The Road Map has always been the instrument to destroy Israel…. and Israel puts it above the Torah.
Remember the prophet Daniel ? ;
” By peace he shall destroy many “

I just want you to know that many Americans do not support this peace initiative that is selling out Israel. As Christians, we recognize that God gave that land to Israel alone, and more. We have read the promise given to Abraham, and the boundaries given in the Old testament.
Please know that we are praying for peace in Israel, but we are not advocating giving up any land for peace. We see this land-for peace business as a tactic Satan and the Anti-Christ will use as a means to overrun Israel and try to grab the wealth, position, and natural resources that God has given to sustain His land.
Please do not group all of us in the same basket. We are praying for you!

Right on Jerry . I am ashamed of our leadership proposing such a moronic plan .

I agree Ryan, the media seems to always underreport anything to do with Israel. They did the same thing with the war . Most of the media focused primarily on the bombing of Lebanon, and their casualties, and reported very little on the rocket fire, and casualties that happened in Israel. So as we can see nothing with the media has changed, they are still biased against Israel. I am also ashamed of any part, that America has had in pressuring Israel into giving up any of their land to anyone. And I believe that we have been, and will be punished for our part in this unrealistic plan for peace.

I am most certainly aware that it is the US government that is harming Israel, and not the people. The American people - the true Bible-believing Christians and Jews among them at least - are a true and steadfast friend to the Jewish state.
That is why I am of the firm belief that Israel needs to start focusing more effort on nurturing its alliance with the worldwide Christian Zionist movement, rather than with states and nations that will only stab her in the back.
In the end, we Bible-believers (along with our King, of course) will be the only ally Israel has left.

Christian’s in Ameirca as a majority helped get the destroyer of Israel by peace in office.
You’re lumped with the backslid whore who went to earthly king for action instead of King Jesus and His heavenly Kingdom
This is where the persecution will come from, the lost will identify Christians and their warrior king George when things go from bad to worse with major debacle’s Iran and Iraq.
The blind sheep in America voted for their own lord to rule over them and now they assume to wash their hands of their alliance with the devil ?
The Lord led myself and other to warn fellow Christians not to hop into bed with this devil and we were ignored, debased, and rejected to this day.
You blindly followed the hired shepherds who encouraged you to vote for the great Christian George. Seduced ,decieved and easliy led astray.
There is a price to pay when you follow blind guides of the blind. Repent and ask God for His mercy ,and get out of bed with this evil man in Washington who used you so easliy.

Marcel ,
We should pray for those who blindly voted for Bush and were misled . They thought that they were doing the right thing . Yes they were misled about the Republicans but I am more concerned about the Antichrist deceiving those same ones. Surely he will be depicted as the Christ himself . He will deceive the very Elect if it were possible . 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 tells us that the son of perdition will sit in the Temple and show himself as God before we are gathered to Christ Jesus . These same people believe that the Rapture (not found in the Bible ) will occur before the Antichrist and Tribulation comes . These people do not research the scriptures to see if they are receiving the true word of God . And that is a shame .
The undeniable truth of the matter is that we will not like everything that will be happening in the future to our beloved Israel . But ,remember it is God’s beloved and nothing can touch them that does not come through his hands first .

Marcel,
President Bush is definitely failing in ways however he is our president, the bible teaches on Authority:it is to be respected. people hate Bush and realistically he has not done as many things wrong as many other presidents have. He has had to try and stand up to everyone being totally against him. I agree he needs to stand anyway. Not give away God’s land, Not give money to terrorists…, but is this just him doing this!? Bush I pray IS a warrior, as I am, IN PRAYER, and FOR CHRIST. you try being President of the U.S. during these times. There was a time if a person were to say their king or country leader was the devil it would be treason. This is the man who is in office and this is the man I will support I am not blind or led astray! I will pray for him and pray that he stands and fights for what is God’s will! Until I see a major reason to turn against a president..ie. actually impeach, I will not do so. Tell me what has he done to cause such hatred?
Honor all people.Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. 1peter2:17 The king at this time was one of the evilest of all times..ie.. Nero..but they were still told to honor him. my point is we need to pray for and honor our president and government. Yes stand up for what is right obviously!Voice your opinion, but you are mistaking who the enemy is my friend, just the same as the Orthodox Jews are fighting the Messianics and Christians…not the enemy! Also Bush does not have absolute ruling power like a king, this is a democracy. We also don’t see or know everything that went/goes on. Know one believes there were weapons of mass destrucion in Iraq, but thier were..ie..Brigitte Gabriel’s interviews with John Hagee..Etc.

An article that talks about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, this is a differant theory than the one I was reffering to. The other involves a major country and that is why it is not revealed. Wouldn’t want to upset the apple cart. Funny I just ran across this one on voiceofthebeliever.com

Agreed, Charles and Nerah - Bush is our leader, and the Bible teaches to respect that, if not oppose his policies. Even David respected Saul’s position as king, while at the same time refusing to be a part of what Saul was doing.
By all accounts, Bush is a born again believer. Sadly, like many believers, he seems to have a distorted view of Israel’s role in these days and just how firmly and unconditionally we are to stand with Israel.
But as a believer, and one who I believe does turn to God for guidance, there is a door through which to strongly influence Bush via prayer. That doesn’t mean he won’t ultimately do the wrong thing, but it does mean we should be praying extra hard for him to heed God’s voice.

Nerah,
You are a fresh breath of air!
Amen! to what you have been puting down on this site! Revelation is from God!
A critical spirit is not what God gives to us, it is what we ourselves put down in comment, from the heart, that is not surendered totally to Him.
Judgement is of the Lord.
When we sit in the judgement seat and speek of others without knowing them, saying all kinds of evil about them, as the commenters have been doing is not love.
You are , in humility, pointing out very critical flaws that we have as Christians.
What would Jesus say? You said it!

Lee, thanks, lol. I try to allow God to lead me but I can be critical too, I am human obviously!!!
