Hamas properly represents the Palestinians

February 11th, 2007  ·  10 Comments

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is again playing dumb, publicly asserting that the Palestinians, who can’t even keep from slaughtering themselves, are opposed to the policies of the violently anti-Israel Hamas terrorist organization.

This is really getting old.

Hamas DOES represent the wishes and interests of the general Palestinian Arab public, the same public that overwhelmingly voted the terror group into office just one year ago.

The “Palestinians” knew perfectly well what they were voting for, too. Whatever else Hamas does on the side, it is known first and foremost, even among the “Palestinians,” as an organization dedicated to the utter destruction of Israel through violent means.

On the other side, the so-called “moderates” - the PLO, Abbas, Fatah, etc - are willing to negotiate right now only because they know they are not yet capable of physically destroying Israel. But in their hearts, what they also really want is for the Jewish state to disappear.

Israel needs to remember that those it now hails as peace-loving moderates (like Abbas his sidekick, Mohammed Dahlan) were just 15 years ago as openly engaged in the mass murder of Israeli Jews with the goal of annihilating the Jewish state as Hamas is today.

Destroying Israel was and remains their raison d’etre. Need proof? Look at just about any Palestinian Authority-approved grade school textbook.

There were plenty of other factions the Palestinian Arabs could have voted for last January, but just about all of them cast their ballots for Hamas and the PLO. The votes don’t lie: the “Palestinians” want Israel gone.

    Livni playing dumb ?
You give her too much undeserved esteem.
To be accepted into the Kadima party the first prerequisite is to leave your brain at the door.

Israel’s number one problem is not Iran Syria Hamas or the other Palestinian terrorist groups.
Israel number one problem are it’s faithless leaders who bow to foreign Idols and their failed peace schemes .
The Road Map has replaced the Torah in Israel and this is the problem.

An Israeli told me to keep quiet after I wrote this
The truth is supressed and delusions and lies rule Israel.
By Go’ds grace ,I WILL NOT KEEP QUIET !

The weak leaders of Israel will always be fearful of coming too close to the Temple Mount after the mad violence and threats from the Islamic world.
Even if Olmert and the cadre of faithless Jews stands up to these threat, they will always be fearful of holding true sovereignty over the Temple Mount .This weakness has always encouraged Israel’s enemies and fed the jihad.
Israel’s enemies know that the Jews who rule Israel believe in nothing and only follow a failed foreign goyim agenda .
The faithful of Israel must remove the Idol worshiper Jews and stand strong against those intent of Israel’s destruction.
The appeasment’s of the faithless idol worshipers has emboldened Israel’s enemies and brought a curse to Israel.

Israel seems to be coming apart politically and spiritually . Nobody can help them if they can’t pull it together . Where is the do or die leadership of old . Hamas is the hero of the Pals. as long as they punish Israel . They have seen Israels weakness and will pursue it .

marcel, I will certainly second your assertion that Israel’s true problem is its faithless leaders.

Yes, Israel is coming apart politically, but I believe it is that unraveling that will bring the nation together spiritually.

As the situation becomes more dire, more and more Israelis will cry out to heaven, and there is One who will answer.

    Right on, Marcel!

Hopefully the government will collapse and they clean out and punish the corruption. This may give spark to spiritual renewal in Israel.

    Ryan,
    God always tests His own.
Israel had a choce to trust in Him or in a mighty superpower for peace.
    Israel was seduced by power.
To this day ,in spite of all the failures since Oslo 1993 ,Wye,Tenant,Zinni,Mitchell,Sharm el Sheikh, Aquaba ,Road Map ‘coventants with death and hell, Israel continues to religiously follow the plan which even a blind fool can see does not lead to peace.
    With such incredible faith is it any wonder that Jesus said to His own ;
I come in My Father’s name and you recieve Me not ,another will come in his own name and him you will recieve.
Ryan ,when does Israel finally say ‘Mr. Bush ,this Road Map of your’s just is not working out and we quit ‘ ?
The truth is, faithless Israel would rather trust in lies than seek their God,even with the mountain of evidence that trusting in Ameirca has brought a curse upon Israel and not peace .
As you said; There is a growing remnant in Israel who see and begin to cry out to God and reject the false Idol.

    Marcel,

Sadly, I do not see an Israeli politician who could actually become prime minister that would dare to say that to Bush.

There is a remnant that is crying out, that realizes their hope is in God and not Washington. But it’s not large enough yet.

I am increasingly concerned what kind of tragedy is going to have to befall Israel before enough of them wake up.

I do believe that Israels only hope will be in the Lord . They will be forced to turn to Jesus . The tide has turned and the power is building against them .
Israel needs a real superpower to not a proxy . Yes Hammas , Hezbolla ect. and now a nuclear Iran with the Russia to lead them will fulfill the scriptures .
