The globally-acclaimed ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Authority in and around Gaza is death in disguise for the residents of southern Israel. And it’s not even a very good disguise, nor is it a new one.
Nevertheless, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert insists Israel is strong enough to take the chance and see if this time will be different:
“Israel is a strong country which can allow itself to have the strength to both fight and to also show restraint and to give the ceasefire the possibility to succeed.”
Later, Olmert told reporters:
“All of these things ultimately could lead to one thing – the opening of serious, real, open and direct negotiations between us so that we can move forward towards a comprehensive agreement between us and the Palestinians.”
Right. And who pays the price when you are wrong? The same people who have been paying the price for these ludicrous policies for more than a decade now, that’s who.
But the ceasefire is not really about peace. It’s about shirking responsibility. It’s about avoiding what really needs to be done out of a fear of international condemnation and a desire for gentile praise.
If you really want to know what is going to happen, just listen to the “Palestinian” terror bosses themselves - you know, the ones Olmert and his buddies in the West are pretending they can’t hear:
“The cease-fire offers a period of calm for our fighters to recover and prepare for our final goal of evacuating Palestine [sic],” said Abu Abir, spokesman for the Hamas-affiliated Popular Resistance Committees. “We will keep fighting [Israel], but for the moment we will postpone certain parts of the military struggle.”
How many times must we go through this charade? How many times must innocent Israeli Jews pay with their blood so that the world can “play peace”?
The “Palestinians” don’t want peace. They openly say so. They want to fight it out. Give them what they want!

The Palestinians have managed to fool Israel with the same phony ruse so many time.
Israeli PM. Olmert promised to release many many Islamic terrorists to go out and kill Jews again.
He also stated he is beside himself to give the Palestinian terrorist entity even more Jewish land with only the promise that the terrorists lie and say they want peace with Israel.
No where in Israel’s ancient history have the Jews been so quick to reward their enemies who seek their destruction.
In the past they used to know that they had to fight to survive,now they believe the lies of the nations who push their phony peace plan.
Israel is truly being destroyed by peace before our eyes with the help of leaders who betray their own by selling out to foreign servant’s of satan.
All of this has made it quite clear to me that Israel’s salvation will come from no where else but their God above.
In Israel ,the politicians have failed ,the military has failed ,the opposition has failed,there is no hope in the flesh ,Only Hashem.

I don’t understand how Olmert, can’t see that this so-called cease-fire is not going to last. It seems to me, that it should be obvious to everyone, including our government. All this cease-fire did, was to put off the inevitable, and to let Hezbollah be able to strengthen, and rearm, themselves. Nothing has changed, they still want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, and the sooner everyone believes this, the better. They can’t be reasoned with, and no amount of cease-fires are going to change this.

I too believe that our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ can come at any time, and I long for His appearing; but until He comes, Israel must Elect leaders who will have the Courage to Stand for Israel’s protection and Not Give Away Land…Take Gaza back also….
I believe those who live in Israel in masses can see what is going on, and they realize that PM E. Olmert just has to go!!!
Every day that he is allowed to continue as Prime Minister, puts Israel closer to more unnecessary bloodshed.
Olmert must be “ousted” and Benjamin Netanyahu elected to lead and protect the Nation of Israel…..Choices have Consequences! The people were led to believe that Olmert was the right person to lead….we have all been fooled in people at one time or another….nevertheless, when we see the “writing on the wall” we have to wake up and make a change as a matter of necessity and Survival!
Ryan, you and Stan both are pouring your hearts out to awaken and warn people…..I don’t understand why people won’t become active and pursue strong leadership, in order to protect and defend the Nation of Israel. GOD IS DEAD… Until you can accept this truth. Humans will not be the species to rule earth. because we can not get along. Since the battles of Alexander to the daily battles of today. Humans have this inability - some consider it a defective gene - in which we can not get along…But in the name of GOD we will continue to destroy each other….And before you start with your hate mail, save your breath….because in the end “We are all going to die and no ones really knows what will happen once we do”….Period.

The fact is, that I am happy to be the one to tell you, that God is very much alive, and well. And not you, or anyone else, can change that fact. I know he’s alive from the changes he’s made in my life, and in other’s. I also know from people that he has healed, including myself, that he’s alive. All you have to do is be aware of what’s going on around you, Bible prophesy is happening before our very eyes. Of course you would have to read the Bible to know this. If you haven’t read the Bible, I hope that you will. I also hope that you will realize for yourself, that God is very much alive, and well. And even though, I don’t know your name, I am going to pray that you do, because it doesn’t matter if I know your name, or not, God knows who you are.
