The world has entrusted the success of a ceasefire, the basis for peace and stability between Israel and Lebanon, to the Hizb’allah terrorist organization. No one should have to explain why this is a bad idea, especially after a similar decision to put regional stability in the hands of Yasser Arafat and his PLO failed so miserably.
Everyone recognizes that the conditions for a future flare-up will exist until Hizb’allah disarms, and UN Security Council Resolution 1701 seems to acknowledge that. But it seems the terror group has been left to decide for itself whether or not to lay down its arms and allow peace to prevail.
No one - not international peacekeepers and not the Lebanese army - wants to actually confront Hizb’allah militarily in order to make sure it disarms.
Hizb’allah says its disarmament is an internal Lebanese issue, and so the government of Fuad Siniora tried to hold a government meeting on the matter Monday morning. But Hizb’allah refused to even discuss laying down its arms, and, unsurprisingly, Siniora immediately folded and called off the meeting. Will that be the end of the charade? Will the international community view that as a legitimate attempt to implement UN resolutions regarding Hizb’allah’s arms, and simply throw up its hands in defeat?
There is one force willing to do the job, but apparently the world will not countenance having Israel actually defeat an Arab Muslim entity.

I mean, good God, aren’t these UN types actually supposed to be intelligient and educated? Do they have any grasp of military history at all? Have they ever, and I mean ever, picked up a Bible at least once in their lives? Thank God the UN was not around in the Second World War. The concept of ‘unconditional surrender’ is so not in vogue these days. Yep, you can bet they would’ve left Hitler in power with the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and it’s U-boats fully intact. What utter dunderheads!

1-: Isareal killed the 1120 Labnise and made new 3000 or 4000 terrorist who lost people and assests in this war.
2-:Isarel lost most of thier soldiers and losing this war israel gave more confidence to Hizbullah.

Has anyone been aware the relationship the Iraqi Kurds, and the Israelites have ie. traning Kurdish comandos, building airports, training counterism units in N. Iraq, Israeli telivison, and other business ventures. There are some that believe the Antichrist might just be a Kurd. The Antichrist will gain the trust of the Israelites, and then turn on them. I guess there have been studies of the region, and they have discovered that the Kurds have close ties to Israel. If anyone knows anything more that would be great.

Alireza, you have been living in exile too long, i have been living in Dubai a flourishing cosmopolitan city, Iran is very close and many Iranians live near me, but they are all either goat hearders or taxi drivers with the occasional tobaconists, that fairly tale you just made up was a fragment or ure imagination or the Iranian Lord of the Rings, but if it were tru then it the fault of the revolutionary prince who tried to decieve and manipulate like the jews. First and foremost ” Aluah Akhbar “. No i am not of the Islamic faith. I am Greek Orthodox. The bible states that we must love our neighbour. No offence to the people of the Jewish faith but Israel is extremely violent towards some Palastenians. However not all Israelites are like this. Unfortunately one bad apple always spoils it for the lot.
When will people learn that there exists one God for evryone. Wether u are of the Cristian, Islamic, Buddist , Hindi or Jewish faith we are all worshipping one supreme being. It is just a different way to worship this suporeme being.
People are always quick to critisise others because their religous beleifs differ from their own.

The people of Israel are very tired of the unending violence perpetrated against the innocence of the civilian populace of their country. The U,N, gave them that land . If they had not been attacked the chances are the Jews would not have crossed the borders set aside by the U,N, resolution. They would try to buy land and there would not have been hostilities. Israel has not criticized the practice of other religions. But when attacked they have to be decisive.
Yes Peter GOD is great, but those are Arabic words if my translation is correct. Yes there is only one GOD and the bible is the word of GOD. Some religions worship hand made gods. Some worship mere men. Jesus Christ came to earth and accomplished the whole will of GOD. To say that GOD changed his mind and had to correct his message to man through Mahmoud is to say what? Are the Muslims saying that GOD screwed up. God is not the GOD of all religions and that makes them Pagans. Nobody should judge them , GOD will. America is in existence I believe to support Israel . At some point it is possible that the U.S. will be taken out of the Mideast picture. But when things look as if there will be no deliverance for Israel Jesus himself will deliver them. It would make sense that the U.S. must (decrease and Jesus Christ increase).
I am not familiar with the Greek Orthodox but I would think that they believe that Jesus Christ Is the Son of GOD and LORD and SAVIOUR do you. If so then you must believe that Christianity is the one true way to GOD.

Hi Charles. I don’t beleive Christianity is the one true way to God but if that’s how my message turned out then i do appologise whole heartedly. That was certainly not my intention.
My one concern is that some people of all walks of life i.e religion use religion as an exsuse to justify their own means of existance. By this i mean some people of the Islamic, Jewish and even Christian faith.
Yes some Muslims are using their religion to push forth their own agenda but lets not 4get the Christians also used religion to justify the crusades many many years ago.
Look i will always be Greek and i will always beleive in the Greek way of life but , pleasae correct me if i am wrong but the Greeks are responsible for the slaughter of the Jews in Israel? Is this how Hanukar came about? Please correct me.

Peter you have laid your cards on the table. I now know where you stand . Every one makes their decision by action or inaction the deed is done. There is only one GOD and one true religion. A mixture of all religions is mirky mess. But Agnostics tend to try to dilute down the validity of JESUS in that way. Time is extreemly short with the events of the last few years pointing to the begining of tribulation. In the eyes of JESUS there is no Jew or Greek or Gentile. There are only those who follow JESUS. Who believe he is the Son of GOD.
