The Lebanese government, in what news agencies described as an “extraordinary” event, decided unanimously Monday to deploy up to 15,000 troops in southern Lebanon, provided Israel withdraw its forces first. That decision is also certain to cause excitement in Washington and the capitals of Europe, as well as the halls of the UN.
But weren’t all of these world leaders telling us just a few weeks ago that the Lebanese army was too weak to confront Hizb’allah, and therefore could not be held directly accountable for the terrorist aggression that sparked the current crisis? Is that still true, or has the Lebanese military suddenly become a powerful and capable fighting force? If it is the former, then who cares if Lebanon sends its army south at this point. Without a force capable of removing the Hizb’allah threat to northern Israel, this whole war is just going to repeat itself a few months or years down the road.
In fact, Beirut is attempting to deceive the international community, even as Lebanon’s political and military leaderships make no secret of their support and admiration for Hizb’allah.
Immediately following Monday’s cabinet decision, Lebanese Information Minister Ghazi Aridi refused to answer in the affirmative a reporter’s question on whether the troops being sent south would be tasked with disarming and removing Hizb’allah from the border regions. That should have sent up red flags right away.
Shortly after, a senior government source indicated to Reuters that Beirut had taken the decision with the sole intention of forcing a revision of the US-France draft ceasefire proposal, which it sees as being too in line with Israel’s position on how to end the fighting.
On one point there should be no confusion: If Lebanon deploys its army to the south, it will not prevent Hizb’allah attacks on Israel by forces of arms. Nor will Hizb’allah see the deployment as a true deterrent to its aggression against the Jewish state.
All this move will accomplish is to provide Hizb’allah with additional human shields, and to deter future Israeli defensive operations for fear of having to engage its neighbor’s official armed forces and thereby sparking a wider regional conflict. Remarks by the head of Lebanon’s military and statements on the army’s official website to the effect that Hizb’allah is a strategic national asset would suggest that is precisely Beirut’s aim.

There is no doubt the arab media is suceeding in deceiving the world and will continue to do so. They always believe that if telling lies helps them achieve their goals then it should be done.
What they don´t realize is that Allah is their god but the only true God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The day the Jewish people realize they are God´s chosen people but have turned their backs on Him and repent then they will see their God (and our God) doing miraculous things and delivering them from ALL their enemies. Without repentance the Jews will continue to suffer because of disobedience. The Old Testament is full of answers to help the Jews to rediscover themselves and realize what a privileged people they are inspite of all the scoffing from around the world.

Why is the UN not demanding a statement on H’bolla from Lebanon. One must know Lebanons stance in writing about this groups long term status in Lebanon. Will they be removed as were the PLO or will they be allowed to integrate into the socio/political community? The UN should demand H’Bolla disarm completly as an independant miitary force in LEbanon. If they don Lebanon military uni’s and come under the command of The army then so be it. But they should not be allowed to be a para-military force, independent of control from the state. Unless this terrorist unit is removed back into syria or iran there will never be peace again. just my opinion from a non jew working stiff.

I’m not jewish, but I feel for Israel, and I think the Jews in America need to do more about education the American public about the current events and be better at public perception of whats going on, It seems to me that these people have studied the culture in America and know how they (Amecans) bleed for victims, so Jews need to turn the table and become more the victims of these times or go for broke and destroy them before they destroy Israel.

All of this trouble is upon the nation of Israel because of the Israeli liberals bending to the bankrupt ideas of the west. Not one land giveaway has changed the Moslem mindset that wants to destroy Israel. It really is not about land as the politicians say. My two cents worth: All arabs move to Meca and Medina and worship the Moon God Allah and the Jews move to Israel and worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, the only true and living God. Read about the idolotors in the Old Testament and through in the liberal Jews today who are just like them. Test the Lord and see if He will not answer your prayers when you believe that He has given this land to the Jews forever.

Beirut is decieving no one with a brain to think with, and a Bible to read from. The Lebanese “Army”, once purged of Persians, would not take a stand against their Persian “Sugar Daddy”. What is happening there is a shame, but it is not as though the Lebanese are totally innocent in the matter.
They voted to make the Hezbullies a part of their government. They embraced them as brothers (in spite of the fact they are all puppets of an idol-worshipping, pompous, overbearing, two-bit, tin-plated, dictatorial Persian lunatic with delusions of granduer). The Lebanese hid their “soldiers” and weapons in their homes, hospitals, schools and places of idolitrious worship, and to launch rocket attacks against the apple of the Lord’s eye from the same.
They made friends with the Serpent and now they, and the whole spitirually-confused world whines and cries about all the terrible things that they have brought upon themselves. I weep for the children, but their blood rest squarely upon the heads of those who invited the destruction upon themselves.
Unfortunately, the secular world trusts in horses and chariots. They are as blind as one can be to the spiritual reality behind this situation.
Indeed David wrote words for us today: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.” (Ps 122:6-8)
David also wrote to those who have come against the Lord’s People. “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.” (Ps. 2:1-5)
I’ve read the Book, from cover to cover and I know who wins in the end. One thing is certan, it won’t be the followers of that moon-god and his pervert prophet.
The Creator will judge His enemies. He judged America for encouraging the dividing of the Land of Israel and He will also judge those sons of Ishmael and Esau who are now trying to destroy the sons of Israel; who themselves will return to the Lord, but only after the Lord has made an end to sin (Dan. 9:24).
