  I just do not know about this man. His track record is not very promising, I wouldn’t buy a pair of shoes from him. The question is,………in your heart and your gut intuition, do you trust him? Think of it, why would he want Hezbollah’s plans? Is not the UN peace keeping forces been in the region for awhile? What have they been doing all this time? Playing cards and having cafe’? Wouldn’t they have know about anything BEFORE this happened? What sort of man is Annan? Who does he answer to? What religion is he? Do you think he is prejudices toward one group more so than the other? Is he taking bribes from some of these nations? Does he stand in righteousness? Or does just the words come out of his mouth with no action to put to it. He is just a man. I say , return to YHVH with all your heart and watch what is hidden be revealed. Watch as the battle from the heavenlies is fought and won. Watch then, as this would occur that Messiah would fight before and behind and make your enemies as smoke. This is not a hard thing to do. Faith and Action is required though; Faith in Him is what is needed. Now, I ask you …….to ask yourself these aforementioned questions and you shall have your answers. then, decide who will you choose? Man’s ways? or YHVH’S?   Why do you worship a god who is so full of evil hatred and malice, a god that demands that you sacrifice your children, a god that makes “believers” at the point of the sword.

  Your god apparently rewards you with 70 virgins in paradise if you succeed in murdering innocents. Do the female martyrs get 70 young men to give them sexual favours in paradise also?

  Would any sane man or woman want to bow down to such a God.
  Do I, even at the point of the sword, want to spend my time in Paradise with a god of human sacrifice or with such murderous people, I think the company of Hell sounds better than your heaven.
  I think I prefer a God of love and mercy. As a none Israeli I prefer the God of Israel!
  You Arabs have abundant land, but you are filled with envy and resentment. Your nations have nearly all the richest oil reserves in the world, but your belief systems keep the majority of you in slavery, ignorance and poverty.
  If you want to go to war, go against those who keep you in darkness, your own spiritual and political leaders. You have an abundance of land and riches to make a beneficial influence on the world, but all you bring is hatred and bloodshed.

  This will cause all contrarians to switch their viewpoints and apologize for their former state of delusion, right?

  Well, this cranky contrarian can forgive a profanity that slips out during a heated in-your-face verbal exchange (though it still says something about the utterer). However, using a profanity while typing is deliberate especially considering that verbal communication does not require hitting a “submit” button.

  On a more important point, the only critical truth is that Islamic fanatics are children of darkness. They want everyone to share the darkness.

  I can’t believe it; here everyone is writing about “his” God and “his” land.
  We, in Europe, have seen in our history what those things bring to the common people.

  God does not dispatch His son into the world that He should be judging the world, but that the world may be being saved through Him. John 3:17

  The “may be” here is a future subjunctive in Greek, meaning that the being saved is dependent on the dispatching in the world. What this means is that since God sent His Son into the world, the world will be saved.

  God locks up all together into stubbornness, that He should be being merciful to all. Romans 11:32

  There is another one of those subjunctives.

  Thnk of it like this. I release the pen, that is should be falling to the ground.

  For even as in Adam all are dying, thus also in Christ shall all be being vivified. I Corinthians 15:22

  This verse is twisted by most Christians to say “all in Christ shall be vivified”, but that’s not what it says. It says “in Christ all shall be vivified”, the same “all” that died in Adam.

  The word in Greek translated “vivified” here means given life beyond the reach of death. It is different from the word translated “roused” out from among the dead.

  Yes, many will be roused out from among the dead, be judged according to their actions, and suffer a second death in the lake of fire. But . . .

  all shall be vivified, yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; therupon those who are Christ’s in His presence; THEREAFTER THE CONSUMMATION, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He whould be nullifying all suvereignty and all authority and power. For He must be reigning UNTIL He should be placing all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy is being abolished: death. I Corinthians 15:23-27

  There are 3 classes of vivification here: 1. Christ Himself, 2. those who are Christ’s at His presence, and 3. those at the consummation, when all has been subjected to Christ and He in turn is subjected to His God and Father. At that time, death will be abolished (discarded), including the second death, and all will be vivified.

  Christ’s sacrifice was for the entire world, and all will be saved, not as a result of anything we have done, but solely as a result of God’s dispatching of His Son into the world to die for us.

  God is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.
  I Timothy 4:9

  This doesn’t mean He is merely the Saviour of all kinds of mankind. It means He really is the Saviour of ALL mankind. But He is the Saviour especially of believers, those Who believe Him now, because they receive eonian life, a life that will endure throughout the remaining eons until all is headed up in Christ. Then at the consummation of the eons, all will be saved and vivified.

  You might want to study the word “aion” in Greek. It means an obscure period of time with a definite beginning and end. This word has been sorely mistranslated in nearly every English version of the Bible. It is better translated eon, so we can see what it actually means by the contexts it is found in.

  For example the words “eternal punishment” found in many Englilsh versions should be translated “eonian chastening”. And the Greek word translated “chastening” has the sense of discipline toward correction.

  Satan will be put through an ordeal in the lake of fire for the eons of the eons. The eons of the eons is a Hebraic expression similar to King of Kings or holy of hoiies. The final two eons are referred to as the eons of the eons because in them Christ and God will be openly revealed to humanity and the goodness of God will be experienced on a wide scale.
  The present eon is said to be a wicked eon. Galatians 1:4

  Please imagine this. It is a sunny afternoon and you’re hungry. You want to take your wife and 3 year old baby out for lunch by the beach in Netanya, Israel. On the way, you decide that you should stop by the popular Netanya mall to buy your little girl a new dress. She’s 3 and starting to grow out of all her old clothes, so you grab a spot in line. You may be wondering, why is there a line to enter the mall? Because no place in Israel is “safe” due to the current “peaceful” situation. Metal detectors and security guards stand at the entrance to the mall, hoping to protect your family and hundred of kilograms of explosives. Your little girl starts to cry, and you realize you forgot her snacks in the car. You quickly run back to go get them. But your world is shattered within instants and the scene you return to is filled with blood sliding down the walls and hot pavement. The scene before you is strewn body parts…of your wife and child. And a suicide bomber who is with 72 black-eyed virgins in ‘paradise’ and whose mother received $3,000 in compensation for the ‘loss’ of her son.

  Can you really call this peace Jose? Can you really call this some kind of misguided fight for freedom? Did killing families waiting in line to get inside a mall really have some kind of value?

When will this end? Israel is bombing Hizbullah strongposts, in order to end the terror. She is not trying to kill innocent victims, in fact she is trying her absolute hardest to avoid ANY civilian casualties. This is a difficult process when Hizbullah terrorists use women and children as human shields. When Hizbullah sends hundreds of rockets into Haifa, are they targeting the IDF, may I ask you? What do their rockets target? SOLELY innocent civilians. Israel wants to ensure the safety of her citizens. She has learned through years and years and years of terror, there will be no peace through negotiation. Because the Arabs don’t want peace Jose, they want the destruction of the “cancer” of Israel off the planet coupled with the annihilation of the Jewish people.

  We did learn something from WWII. This time around, I can only hope, we will protect ourselves.

  Julie, I have a daughter named Julie also. God protect you and your family. What you write is so sad but true, these “shining lights”,heavily armed shooters are cowards, with no backbone to stand erect and face other armed fighters. They hide behind masks and travel in packs seeking a fight with one or two innocents. Everything wrong in their life is someone elses fault, while what is right is a blessing from allah.

  This is what I believe this conflict is all about

  There is only one G-d, The G-d of Israel.
  He is the creater of the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1
  He is the G-d who chose Abraham and his son Isaac
  (not Ishmael )
  and Isaac’s son Jacob and through this line, through the line of King David would be the promised King. ( The Saviour of the world )
  G-d brought His people out of slavery in Egypt with mighty miracles.
  He brought them into the wilderness to teach them His Torah
  (His commandments, )so that they would be a people set apart unto G-d Himself, and a light to the world. ( so they could show the world what G-d requires of us , so that G-d might be glorified)
  Through the Jewish line Yeshua (Jesus) came into the world

  He came into the world to take the punishment of sinful mankind upon Himself. He is the spotless Lamb, whose blood was shed for the Jews first and also all other peoples of the world. Why ?
  Because we are all sinners, and have fallen short of G-ds Glory
  We have become seperated from the true G-d. because of our sin.
  So G-d has made a way for us to come back to Him. through Yeshua His Son.
  This is an offer for all mankind, no matter what religion we have been brought up in.
  So what do we have to do to receive this gift from G-d.
  We must recognise that we are sinners , confess this before G-d , and ask Him to forgive us, cleansing us because of Yeshua’s sacrifice.
  Salvation through Yeshua is a free gift. To receive this free gift we need to believe in Yeshua as our saviour.
  Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah, He is also the Messiah to all who believe in Him..
  It says in the Bible that in the last days, G-d will bring His people back to the land of Israel
  He will also bring down those nations and peoples that have come against Israel (and that will be a terrible day for them )
  All Israel will be saved. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Isaiah 54
  Why? Because G-d will vindicate His Holy Name. and complete His word according to the Holy Bible.
  Which says—
  I will once again have compassion on Israel. and bring my people back to the land.
  As they recognise their Messiah Yeshua, and call on His Name, so the L-rd will return. Yeshua the supreme King of Kings.
  Yeshua will bring in His Kingdom of peace.
  satan and his servents will be destroyed at this time.
  Yeshua will be glorified by ALL mankind. Every knee will bow to Him every tongue will confess, that He is truly the Messiah
  The Holy Lamb of G-d.
  The enemy of mankind satan knows this and will try his hardest to decieve people .
  So Israel today, as it always has been is in the midst of a spiritual battle. satan knows that if the Jews return to their land, the time is getting near for his destruction.
  so he is trying every trick in the book to cause people to believe in his plan .The desrtuction of Israel.
  satan will NOT of course suceed, but many people will believe his lies and hate Israel.
  G-d said ALL WHO CURSE ISRAEL WILL BE CURSED
  ALL WHO BLESS ISRAEL WILL BE BLESSED
  If we follow after satans plans we will find ourselves coming against the true G-d, we can of course not win this battle.
  satan is already lost, but while we are here on this earth we can make a decision, to choose to follow the one true G-d. To trust in Him alone for our salvation.
  On the day of judgement, which WILL COME we alone must stand before G-d and give an account of all we have done in our lives for good or bad.
  Have we cursed or blessed Israel.
  Have we received or rejected Yeshua as our Messiah
  I know I have received Yeshua as my Messiah, and I stand with Israel in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem and the land and salvation for her people in Yeshua.

  Amen on #27 above.

  I’ve been considering, those of us in Christ should be seeking that which is above, where Christ is. And we are to be disposed to that which above, not to that on the earth. Our blessings are spiritual among the celestials. Our place on earth could (and maybe should) look like this: a theater to the world and to messengers (angels) and to men, stupid, weak, dishonored, hungering, naked, buffeted, unsettled, toiling, and working with our own hands. Being reviled, blessing; being persecuted, bearing with it; being calumniated, entreating; as the offscouring of the world becoming the scum of all things.

  But at the same time I can’t seem to resist putting out words regarding God’s earthly plans for Israel. We know He will fulfill His words.

  I pray He fill us full with the realization of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we may walk worthily of the Lord for all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the realization of God . . .

  We are aware that superior authorities (governments) on this earth are God’s servants for our good, avengers for indignation to him who is committing evil. How involved we get in those governments is up to God. In any case, I don’t see a problem with asking Him to remove or establish certain authorities, but I think it is also good to remember our enemies are not flesh and blood.

  For sure, we are entreated that petitions, prayers, pleadings, thanksgiving be made for all mankind, for kings and all those being in a superior station, that we may be leading a mild and quiet life in all devoutness and gravity, for this is ideal and wlcome in the sight of our Saviour, God, Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realization of the truth.

  “I am El, and there is no other! Elohim! And no other like Me! Telling from the beginning, the hereafter, and from aforetime what has not yet been done, saying, All my counsel shall be confirmed, and all my desire shall I do.” Isaiah 46:9,10

  Grace, mercy, and peace be with all of us in Christ, and may our God and Father save all mankind.

  The Lord be with your spirit, brother.

  The grace of our Lord overwhelms, with faith and love in Christ Jesus!

  Correction: We may have some enemies that are flesh and blood, but it is not ours to wrestle with blood and flesh.

  If our enemy is hungering, we should give him something to eat.

  It IS ours to wrestle with the sovereignties, with the authorities, with the world-mights of this darkness, with the spiritual forces of wickedness among the celestials, realizing that in the Son of God’s love, the entire complement of the Deity delights to dwell, and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace throught blood of His cross), through Him, whether those on the earth or those in the heavens.

  Well said Jeff, Jeremiah 32:37-42 is a beautiful passage (promise) concerning Israel’s future.I am especially encouraged when I read vs 41 where He states,” and I will plant them in this land assuredly”.I believe the process has already begun, if only they protect one another, fight to remain there and not relinquish any more of God’s gift to them.
