Israel is threatening to leave the World Press Federation after that organization condemned the Jewish state for bombing a television station belonging to Hizb’allah’s Al-Manar network.
In an unbelievable statement, Federation Secretary-General Aidan White said:
The attacks on Al-Manar proves Israel’s policy of the use of force as a means of quieting press organizations with which Israel does not agree.
It is amazing how freedom of speech now extends to terrorist ranting and incitement to murder people… well, at least Jewish people.

This is another aspect of bad military planning. Attacking obvious civilian targets like television or radio stations will win no friends for the State of Israel in this conflict. We can understand that Hezbollah “propaganda” is being broadcast. So what? Why is the Arab propaganda so dangerous to the Israelis? Could it be that some of the propaganda is actually factual? I mean, how many lies can be fabricated in a single broadcast? Some of the broadcast reports have to be factual. Even the Nazi’s had to deal with reality on an occasional basis during World War II.
