The US will fuel Israel’s offensive against the forces of Islamic terror by supplying feeding the Israeli warplanes currently pounding the Hizb’allah hordes.
The Pentagon also appeared to acknowledge Israel’s position as true enforcer of “peace and security” in the Middle East.
America’s backing for Israel in this fight has been phenomenal. Let’s hope it continues.

Well, the American people didn’t get a chance to vote on the decision. Neither was it debated in Congress. This is another example of the Bush regime’s use of unilateral militarism. It’s not working in Iraq and it won’t work in Lebanon either.
According to the polls, the current administration has a sinking rate of credibility. The elections in November are soon to be held and scared Republican incumbents are running for cover. Even as disorganized as it is, the Democratic Party stands to sweep many areas of the nation. Of course, the Democrats aren’t much better than the Republicans when it comes to truly recognizing the need of the USA to STAY OUT of this sorry incursion. It is a NO-WIN situation for all involved.
