How to best protect Lebanon

July 16th, 2006  ·  2 Comments

Hizb’allah chief Hassan Nasrallah Sunday said his group’s only desire to protect the people of Lebanon.

But the people of Lebanon are today enduring a punishing Israeli military offensive ONLY because Hizb’allah decided to launch an unprovoked assault on northern Israel. Before that assault, there were no Israeli bombs or shells landing in Lebanon. Plain and simple.

If Nasrallah really cared about the well-being of Lebanon’s people above all else, he would set free the IDF soldiers abducted by Hizb’allah and withdraw his forces from southern Lebanon.

But like all Arab leaders who shed crocodile tears over the suffering of their people, Nasrallah’s true aim is to help facilitate the annihilation of Israel. It is a pattern that was established long ago with the cynical use of “Palestinian” refugees scattered throughout the region, who have been left in an unsettled state for decades.

Like those “refugees”, the people of Lebanon can rest assured that Nasrallah and his cause can only benefit from their suffering and deaths.

The Israeli response to the CAPTURE of its SEVERAL soldiers who crossed the border into Lebanon is truly disproportionate. Why start a bloodbath with civilian casualties over SEVERAL soldiers? One has to wonder what the Israeli agenda truly is. That is, IF they have a war-plan for victory over the muslim militants. They haven’t been able to manage relations with the duly elected Palestinian Hamas government very well. What leads them to tempt fate and think that they can control the southern border of Lebanon by bombing the capital city of Beirut? It’s madness on their part. I am sure that many Israelis feel that their government has bitten off more than it can swallow. This is not the road to security or peace. Expect the mindless blodshed to continue, as the western powers are impotent to stop either side in this tragic instance. BEWARE of August 22nd! This is a very significant date in the Islamic calendar as it concerns the re-appearance of a long-lost Iman. The propagation of Jihad is the order of the day and many will be sacrificed all in the honor of “Allah.”
