Odd, I have never heard Kofi Annan “demand” anything of the Palestinians. You know, like that they stop firing rockets at Israeli towns, blowing themselves up in Israeli cafes, or kidnapping and holding hostage Israeli citizens.
UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has demanded that Israel take urgent action to prevent a humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip.
Captain Ed has a fix on the reason for this absurdity: “this is the UN.” An organization that, judging by what it spends the lion’s share of its time on, exists for the sole purpose of harassing the Jewish state. I mean, what has the UN accomplished lately besides condemning and strong-arming Israel into deals detrimental to its survival?

Oh, shooting an unarmed innocent palestinian children that uses stone to attack israel, is considered crucial to israel’s survival?
Shooting a palestinian, who has no jobs, no house, no land, no money because some people took it from them (Who took it?, refer to history or the latest map) is considered israel’s survival?
Demand, my friend, is when you asked politely the person who has gun in his hand to change it to stone, like the other party.
To demand the party that is losing all his land, his economy to drop the stone? Of course, you are brilliant enough to guess what he will do.
And yet, UN is doing wrong?
Yes, everybody is wrong except the people who shoot innocent children and who took other people’s land.
