The international community’s reaction to Israel’s intention to hand most of Judea and Samaria back to the Arabs without asking anything in return seems to suggest the world doesn’t actually want the “Israeli occupation” to come to an end. For decades the international community clammored for Israel to relinquish its biblical heartland.
Eventually, under tremendous pressure, Israel acquiesced and entered into land-for-peace negotiations with the so-called “Palestinians.”
After more than a decade of “Palestinian” intransingence, culminating in the overwhelming electoral victory of Hamas, a group openly and unswervingly dedicated to Israel’s destruction, Jerusalem has decided there simply is no viable partner with whom to conclude an agreement.
But did Israel respond - as it should have - by saying, “Look, we told you so, the Arabs don’t want peace. Now let us be to administer these liberated lands as only we can”?
No, Israel’s response is to throw up its hands and just give to the Arabs almost all of what they are demanding.
And now the world wants Israel to hold its horses and not surrender the bulk of the land to the Arabs?
Do they want Israel out or not?
I guess the problem for the world is that by unilaterally surrendering, Israel will be more free to set the terms of its own surrender.
If it were done at the negotiating table, the world could pressure Israel to meet 100% of Arab demands, rather than just 90%.
One hundred years ago, the Jews were certain that if they could only reestablish their own state they could finally be masters of their own destiny, able to make decisions they felt were best for their own people regardless of the whims of the nations.
The international community today is determined to make sure this is not the case.

NO………I do not believe that giving away the God-given-ordained land to anyone is going to help matters. It will only spark more trouble as God brings down HIS judgement on all who are involved. Israel, you KNOW this…….read your Holy text…..God warns you about this…PLEASE don’t do this. HOLD ONTO THE LAND. It will be much worse for all of us if you do. The same is going to happen to the US as a result of pushing for this w/drawal.

NO! This land belongs to God — and for that reason it belongs to Israel.
We hear Mahmood Ahmadi-Najad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran speaking over and over of his desire to destroy Israel. Other radical Islamic groups are saying and attempting to do the same.
Apeasement will not work when dealing with Islamic fundamentalists or Western liberals who do not understand the goals of these fundamentalists. We should have learned that in World War II.
Stand your ground, Israel. You have the God of the universe standing with you and behind you. Giving up the land will only make your situation much more difficult.
I also encourage the moderate Muslims who are not wanting to destroy to speak out against the actions of the radical groups in your religion. We will stand with you as you take a stand for what is right.

I donot believe that Israel should give up one inch of the land that God gave them. I do believe that they should trust God to take care of them and protect them. The Palestinian’s had have no right to this land or any of the land that God gave Israel. We as supporters of this Holy land should support them as much as possible. Remember what God said He who supports Israel will be blessed toughs that hate Israel God will turn his back on him.

Israel: This is the God of Abraham,Isaac &
Jacob land. He has given it to their desendents. You need to see that the world
hates the Jewish people. No matter what you
do it won’t work. Trust in your
God. He will be with you. He will fight for
you like many times before. Only trust Him

The time of Israel’s judicial blindness will soon come to an end, when the Lord will pour out upon them the Spirit of grace and of supplications.
When the Messiah takes up his Throne, ruling from Jerusalem upon the Throne of David, the land covenanted to Israel will be restored to them — from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates.
No one, and nothing can prevent or even delay that, because it is the Word of the Living God.
But also, no one and nothing can bring it — because it is written that the MESSIAH will alone redeem Israel.
Therefore our part is to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. In praying for the peace of Jerusalem, we are praying for the coming of the Messiah, because He IS the peace of Jerusalem. He IS the peace of the world.

This whole situation just goes to show the lengths that Israel will go just to secure some hope that they too can live in “peace” and “security”. However, the fact is that giving away land will not bring about peace. There will only be peace in the Middle East when Messiah Yeshua is ruling from Jerusalem over a restored Israel. As said in previous replies, the God of Israel has made it clear what will happen to those who are responsible for dividing up His Land (Joel 3:1-2).
It is encouraging, however, to see so many Christians here supporting Israel. Let’s continue to stand for Truth, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and continue supporting our Root! Christians would do well to remember Romans 15:26-27 – “For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.”

Joel Chapter 3 The Lord says He will enter into judgment with the nations of earth because they divided up my land. Zechariah Chapters 12 and 14 state that Jerusalem shall become a burdensome stone and a cup of trembling to all nations and all who lift it shall be severely injured though all the nations be gathered against it. The Day of the LORD is approaching. God’s call was on Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob(ISRAEL). God made a Holy covenant with King David regarding the City of Yerushalayim. The true Messiah, Deliverer, Savior, and Redeemer will Soon Appear. Read Zechariah chapters 12 and 13 and 14.

If the world wanted to really find out who is the responsible for the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinians its simple ,the United Nations should demand a 6 month peace between them first one who brakes the truce will be considered a terrorist regime and all assistance will be cut off by all United Nations Countries.

The answer is YES, BUT!!
In general the world wants Israel out of the “area” (questionable if the world wants a State with a Jewish majority anywhere in the world). The question is more one of logistics. Ultimately, the wish is to eliminate the entire Jewish State. Different countries have differing opinions as to how to accomplish that.
For example, the American people would like to see the Jewish State continue, but would accept its end if it comes about peacefully. (What I call the South African option where the White minority still has their rights protected.) Sometimes it seems to me that the America State Department wants to create an environment that will necessity the eventually eradication of the State. Notice how Israel has to always give more to appease the Arabs. And, what Israel gives can often not be taken back should the Arabs fail to live up to their side of the bargain. In fact the same Arab promises are rehashed again and again.
Notice how the “grand” letter that President Bush gave to PM Sharon, in order to encourage the withdrawal from Gaza, has turned into a worthless piece of paper. Sure it spoke about the need to make border adjustments, but then it said that any changes needs to satisfy the Arabs. Does any one believe that the Arabs would compromise? A real test would have been if President Bush would get up and say that the Arabs cannot demand any “Right of Return.” But, that he still has failed to do.
Europe, which historically breaking their backs to appease the Arabs, hardly notices how their funding of the Arabs has supported terror. All they want is Israel to both withdrawal and still be responsible for the Arabs. Israel has almost totally avoided reentering Gaza, yet you don’t hear a peep out of Europe when the Arabs claim that Gaza is still occupied. The EU was to prevent terrorist and weapons from entering Gaza from the Sinai, right.
So why does it seem like the Israeli government is doing everything to hurt themselves? The answer to that depends on where you sit. There are dedicated Right Wing parties that truly want to protect the State of Israel, but they are still disorganized. It seems that some of their leaders may be “double agents,” actually working for the government. (See a recent video that was listed on Arutz Sheva.)
Then you have the religious parties that love Zion, but are dedicated to tend to their own flocks. These people deeply believe in G-d and that G-d will ultimately have HIS way. Taking money and voting against the land doesn’t mean anything since in the end it doesn’t matter.
The so-called Centrist is just a fancy way of saying let me have what ever I can grab. Since the “powers that be” want a strong Arab State they are told what to do to attain that end, even if it means self-suicide.
Finally you have the left wing parties. These are more problematic. Sure they are motivated by greed. But, some of their actions are the result of self-hatred. They thought they would have a Jewish State devoid of Judaism. They wanted a country based on their socialistic beliefs. Jews would no longer be Jews, they would be Israelis. They would be physically and mentally powerful, but devoid of tradition. However, many Jews felt a yearning to return to their foundation. This has cause tremendous anguish amongst the Left Wing elitists. As the result they want to undermine the entire State with the hope that they can have their own personal freedoms protected in a non-sectarian State of Palestine. They thought that the terrorist PLO would want a secular State too. However, now that Hamas has stepped in some of these people have lost their speech. But, even amongst these Left Wing people there are some for whom their self-hatred is deep that they continue to run after the “Goyim.” At the very least they want the many Jewish historical sites placed out of reach for the Jewish People. As will happen if Olmert has his way.
About a week or two ago Ms. C. Glick wrote an article in the Jerusalem Post where she, in one sentence, summarized the deep seated hatred that exists between the secularist and the religious people. I think it was in an article speaking about PM Olmert’s planned visit to America.
So the question is not the goal, but how to get there. And, how many Jews will be killed along the way.
It is my belief that what motivates many left wing people, in Israel as well as around the world, is the deep desire to disprove G-d. Within the Judo-Christian world there is a general belief that G-d will protect and maintain the Jewish People. There is the belief that the Jews will be brought back to their land before the finial redemption. Many people see the creation of the State of Israel as being the start of this final redemption. Therefore, those people who believe in G-d must do everything possible to keep the Jewish State alive. However, those people who do not believe in G-d always seek someway to prove that HE does not exist. A quick way is to destroy what seems to be prophesied in the Bible. Although Islam is a monotheistic religion it does not support the centrality of the Jewish People. Therefore, they also stand to gain should they succeed. The interesting thing will be, G-d forbid, should Israel be destroyed, the battle that will break out between the atheist and the forces of Islam. Talk about mass destruction.

Is the God of Israel a Sovereign God or not? My faith is is Him, His plan, His Land, His people……..stand still and watch the salvation of the Lord. The Red Sea was no obstacle for Israel and God is the same God who delivered them then…….There will be no two states living side by side in the Holy Land. The cancer will be cut out when God is ready to operate!

Many people have their own views on this matter, however, it does not really matter. WHAT DOES MATTER, is what Our FATHER says:
“If MY people, which are called by MY name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek MY face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
2Chron.7:14 KJV
How many people have eyes to see and ears to hear….only time will tell.

why must Israel be the only one the give up land? let Egypt give the up the entire Siani.
this will provide much more land and resources for the so-called palestinians, wihle letting Israel retain both Judea/Samaria and the Gaza stirp. Also let Saudi Arabia give some of its western privinces as also to be part of western palestine, connected by ferry services. SO the aim of the U.N, AND THE MUSLIM WORLD WILL BE SATISFIED. a PALEStinian state sharing a common border with Israel. the 2 state saloution?. Well i just had 4 rum and cokes.

To give away land that belongs to our G-d is among the less intelligent things to do. The Arabs are jealous and want this land for their own. G-d does not break His promises to His people, He never has and He never will. Remember Hurrican Katrina, a small tropical storm that bloomed almost overnight into a massive hurricane. G-d’s judgement came upon America for her part in pressuring Israel for the Gaza pullout. 25% of Israel’s crops came from Gaza, and 25% of where America’s oil came to was affected by a massive hurricane.
Pray for Israel’s peace. Mankind cannot fully bring about peace, not true peace. There can only be a wary truce that will eventually be broken by one side. We already know that the Arabs have absolutely no intention of “peace”, and the more that is given to them, the more they will demand. England reneged on an agreement with the Jewish people, and look what happened. Now America is going against G-d’s land, and soon this country will fall if the leaders refuse to heed G-d’s warnings.

Israel owns nothing. God removed it from them under the Deut. 28 conditions and as a fact stated by Jesus when telling of the wicked vinedressers. Today, according to Hebrews, we are striving for a heavenly land. the one Abraham actually had in mind himself. National Israel is out of the picture.

Regarding #24….
I have finally figured it out! Muslim Arabs are all clones trained to say and think one thing all the time:
death to the Jews….
Wow! What a fulfilling life that must be….

As unbelievable as it may seem, the muslims are acting as God has intended from the beginning. He provided them with a book called the Koran. If you believe that God has complete control then it is easy to see that the radicals are commanded of God. Check out the Internet sites (GOG and MAGOG) and(Dajjal) and you will see a parallel view to the end times that will show the engine that drives this new threat. There is no stopping the will of GOD.
I am a Christian and support Israel totally, and would love to see the return of JESUS.
