How not to respond to terror

April 24th, 2006  ·  12 Comments

A glimpse into the depths of delusion:

  1. “Suicide” bomber slaughters nine and wounds more than 60 others in Tel Aviv.

  2. Hamas-led Palestinian Authority unsurprisingly endorses said bombing.

  3. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declares that said endorsement of said bombing is evidence that the PA is no peace partner.

  4. Israel will respond by surrendering in return for nothing the lands that the PA had hoped to gain through negotiations, says Olmert.

Is this failing to make sense to anyone else?

Does anyone, outside of Israel’s own delusional leaders, believe this will NOT encourage Hamas and their fellow terrorists to mass murder more Jews?

Or is Jewish blood really less valuable than the very temporary international acceptance and accolades Olmert & Co. believe they will receive for dividing this land at all costs?

How Has Islam Enriched Your Life?

        by Arlene Peck

Have any of you noticed over the past few years that page after page in your daily newspapers is filled with the latest dysfunctional happenings caused by ,or as result of the seemingly maniacal Muslim world? Honestly, I cannot open a paper or turn on the television without seeing mobs of Muslim savages celebrating in front of a burning embassys, school, restaurant or those stupid tires they seem to think are so impressive to burn . And, don’t you just love those scenes of men in black ski masks, racing through the streets, shooting guns in the air. Or racing through the streets wearing their black mask shooting guns in the air or standing behind some terrified captive getting ready to be-head him or her,

Lord, did we have a life before the Taliban? I wonder . Is this an improvement from a few of years ago when we saw Western dignitaries sitting in yucky caves in Afghanistan, wearing Armani suits and Bally shoes; at the table sitting with them, a dirty rag-towel wearing ‘War Lords ‘ (Tell me, isn’t that an 8 th century word?), eating road kill for din-din and making plans to stop the Al Qaeda. In fact, come to think of it, before 9/11, we never even heard of words like Al Qaeda, Taliban, Jihad, Homeland Security or any other of the new vocabulary that they’ve taught us.

I long for the old days when I when turned on stupid comedy shows and the news would have reported the latest fashion shows, which Hollywood star was coming out of the closet and people were learning to dance the Macarena . Homicide bombers? Never heard of them. Today, I wish I could see less glorification of anti-democratic fanatics. I had become accustomed to the sympathetic posters of Che Guevara , famous for helping Fidel Castro shape the Cuban revolution. But, I’m not ready for films like “Munich” , recently created by Stephen spielberg and self-hater Tony Kushner, that give Muslims a platform for justification of their terrorism.

If I had even a remnant of a sense of humor left, I might find something funny in the fact that these, Arab murderers are now killing their own ‘brothers.’ in yet another of their frenzied, holy wars against their own. The Shiites and Sunnis are going for each other full force ; while the Kurds, also Muslims but not Arabs, sit safely on the sideline, watching the slaughter. The so-called ‘Palestinians,’ who now have territory of their own are killing one another on a daily basis. And, don’t forget those wonderful, new politicians from Hamas are unleashing terror against Fatah and others , reveling in the blood, terror and mayhem they hold so dear. In between, they somehow manage to find time to kill and injure scores of Israelis using homicide bombers. The Los Angeles Times headline reports : “Israel Opts for Restraint in Response to Bombing.” The timing and theme of George Orwell’s book, 1984 has come and gone while the world has gone mad. Love is Hate… and ” Israel Opts for Restraint in Response to Bombing! ” The only question that should be asked right now is which to bomb first, Mecca or Medina! At the very least, consider transfer as the only alternative.

Unfortunately, the powers that be in Israel can’t abring themselves to do that. But, the time is long past to do something! I think it a good thing that they target and are able to pulverize the leaders of the terrorist groups while driving to place their latest bomb. How much more effective, though, would it be if they were fly into the headquarters of the new government of Hamas and blow up everything in sight? Nothing, but nothing should be left standing! That, folks, just might get their attention! Hamas, however, has made it very plain that their goal is total annihilation of the State of Israel and to fly the Palestinian flag atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Without a doubt, they would desecrate that just as they did Joseph’s Tomb, the Tomb of the Matriarchs and even the Church of the Nativity when they had the chance. We must read the writing on the wall, while we still have The Wall…transfer the enemy out of Israel, NOW!

How tacky of me to smile at the nightly scenes on TV showing Arab, Afghani and Pakistani Muslims currently bombing mosques and killing their Muslim brothers, sisters and children at a brisk pace because that’s all they know how to do. Even more ironic is what I read recently, in my evening paper, that Muslim leaders are seeking help from the Dalai Lama to “quell extremism.” I question whether the Dalai Lama needs to be tested for dementia when he responded with: ” These few mischievous ones do not represent the whole Muslim community.” Oh really, how ‘few’? Who ’s next for a consultation? The Pope, Billy Graham, Jimmy Carter or one of the Chief Rabbis of Israel? “Mischievous?” Cute ; Misguided, foolish but cute.

Then, there are the letters that I get from faraway readers who remind me that it’s not just the Jews who are currently longing for the bygone ‘normal’ days of just a few years ago. One of my favorite readers, an Australian, recently e-mailed me, “Damn, I can’t believe I am writing sentences with words like “Grand Mufti of Australia” in them. What the hell happened to my country? How did words like fatwa, Mufti, Imam, jihad, burqah, Koran etc. become part of our lexicon? I’ll tell you, Arlene, that there is a huge growing anger here…and it is going to blow. I am what you would call a ‘moderate’ voice, I suppose, but I know people who aren’t. The number is growing rapidly on a daily basis.”

But you get the idea. This, from a friend who is not Jewish… and certainly not an Israeli. Here is a ‘new’ concept… It isn’t a Jewish problem! It never was. I have been writing, for more years than I care to count, about the world-wide threat to our Western civilization from these 7 th century savages who actually believe that they are in a Crusade. Israel is only the “canary in the mine.” It’s an entirely new situation now that most of Europe has caved in and the influence and power of the World of Islam is growing at an alarming rate. Mainly because it is common for the men to have multiple wives, and harvest many children with each of his wives.

Remember the question, ” Are you better off today than you were five years ago? ” Hasn’t all of this new information enhanced your life, just as it has mine?

I think the peace process is not in danger because people consider Jewish blood less worth, but because many Jews consider Muslims’ blood less worth. It’s just horrible to see what crimes the govt. of Israel gets away with, they just murder Palestinians if they feel like it.

I THINK ARLENE IS RIGHT, THE ONLY THING IS WE THE CHRISTIAN PEOPLE HAVE SET BACK AND LET IT HAPPEN. SO IT IS TIME THAT WE THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE THE ALMIGHTY GOD WHO CREATED THIS WORLD AND ALL THAT IS THERE IN, SHOULD BAND TOGETHER AND HAVE A WORLD WIDE REVIVAL THAT WOULD SHAKE THE VERY EARTH WE WALK UPON. GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE AND HE STILL RULES THIS WORLD EVEN IF THE MUSLIMS DO NOT BELIEVE IT.MORE YEARS THAN I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE, BUT AS A TEENAGER MY CHURCH HAD BIBLE STUDY TWICE A YEAR, THIS IS WHERE I FIRST LEARNED ABOUT ISLAM. I AM AN OLDER PERSON LETS SAY IT WAS IN THE LATE 40′S AND EARLY 50 THAT I LEARD THAT THIS WAS THE FASTEST GROWING GROUP OF PEOPLE FILLED WITH HATE FOR ALL OF MAN KIND THAT DID NOT BELIEVE THE WAY THEY BELIEVE. I CAN’T CALL IT A RELIGION, BUT JUST A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT WILL KILL AND WALK AWAY LAUGHING. THAT TO ME SPELLS “satan”
GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS ISRAEL.
JUST REMEMBER ALL YOU MUSLIMS GOD THREW satan OUT OF HEAVEN AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE GATES OF HEAVEN UNLESS YOU SEEK AND FIND MY LORD AND SAVIOR, THE CREATOR OF ALL, THE ALL MIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL GOD OF PEACE AND LOVE.

    Regina,

Believe me, if Israel’s desire was to simply murder Palestinians for fun, there would be no more Palestinians.

Before the elections I said that if Biby Netanyaho does not win that election that God help Israel. My prediction, unhappily, may be coming into fruition sooner than I expected. The Prime Minister’s plan of giving up most of Samaria and Judea, the historical heart of Israel, will bring no peace especially with Hamas at the helm. This ancient Israeli land was won again in the 1967 war, imposed on Israel, and should have been annexed and quickly reoccupied by the Israelis. Leaders like Mosze Dian are responsible for today’s problems which are much more difficult to resolve than they were then.

Ryan Jones - great comment! That’s our problem; we are much too compassionate! We still allow them to come into Israel to work and still provide water, electricity and phone service! And they are supposed to be independent!! They have nobody but themselves to blame for their misery.

There has just been a terrorist attack in Sinai. A hundred killed - so far.

    Ryan and Chaya,
the question is not if they could do it, but if they have the right to. I respect your opinion, but I consider your views very cynical, it’s human lives you’re talking about after all, and there are international laws and common values every country should adhere to. Even Israel.

For those who believe that Israel has committed atrocities, the question is: How does a nation connected directly to their religion respond to neighbors with the only goal is your annhilation? You fight back tooth and nail to victory or death.

  • 9 SEFord2003@yahoo.com // Apr 26, 2006 at 8:38 pm

Dear Friends - don’t you get it. It’s not a matter of being nice to the Palastinians. Let me take you back a few decades. Here is what one sec’t gen of the Arab League said: “This will be a war of extermination & momentious massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres & the Crusades. NOT ONE JEW WILL BE LEFT ALIVE.”

Here are the words of another “moderate” Arab ruler: “The Zionist conquest of Palestine is an affront to all Moslems. This colonialist barbarism cannot & will not be tolerated. There can be no compromise until EVERY JEW IS DEAD & GONE.”

Here’s another one from a past Mufti of Jerusalem: “The entire Jewish population in Palestine must be destroyed or be driven into the sea. Allah has bestowed upon us the rare privilege of finishing what Hitler only began. Let the Jihad begin. MURDER THE JEWS. MURDER THEM ALL.”

King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud, the founding monarch of the Saudi sultante said, “The Arab nations should sacrifice up to 10 million of their 50 million people if necessary, TO WIPE OUT ISRAEL.”

I’m not a Jew, but I can see this matter as clear as a bell. The current struggle is only the ongoing enmity that resulted when Abraham fathered a son, Ishamael, by the concubine Hagar & later fathered another son, Isaac, by Sarah, his wife, & the world today is still bearing the burden of conflict between these two sons. The problem is that Abraham disobeyed God by fathering Ishmael, a son He never intended Abraham to have.

All the promises, especially the promise of the Land, were left to Isaac, not to Ishmael. That’s it in a nutshell. GF

I think the picture should be clear.

    Regina,
My dear Regina, you are sooo misguided and blind to the truth. Does not the holy spirit of God mean anything to you or do you even know the what it means?? Regina, enlighten yourself in the history of the world and especially Israel.

    SEFord,
Yessss, you know your history, please enlighten Regina.

    Chaya,
    Absolutely agree with you!!!

John, I too agree with you somewhat, however Moshe Dayan is not responsible for today’s problems. He, more than anyone else personified Israel’s determination to survive.

    Arlene, awsome article

    Bobbie,
We must still love and bless our enemies, God will deal with them in His own way and time.
We will overcome, though at times it may seem like that is not the case.

    Slanted,
Yes, Isreal does have the right to self determination and the right to protect its people and defend itself. Is it an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth??? Hmmmmmm? Is this what it takes?

    Ryan,
Israel is indeed a very powerfull nation!!
It has the means and capability.

    Arlene,
    Awsome!!!

    Regina,
Do not let yourself be deceived, lest you be led astray!!!

May God have mercy on all HIS people!!!

    Regina,

You don’t have one honest bone in your body. It must be nice to know that you continue the great Nazi tradition of your forefathers. I challenge you to go to your beloved Palestinians, wear a yarmulke while you’re at it. See how long you last. Better yet, go to Gaza. They love to receive sympathizers!
